Ankle surgery recovery

hello all, I broke my ankle AUGUST 19th . I HAD SURGERY ON SEPTEMBER 9,2019. dor the past two weeks ive been feeling weird sensations inside of my ankle where its numb. IT FEELS LIKE SOMETHING IS CONSTANTLY MOVING AROUND AND FOLLOWING BY BURNING TWITCHING SHARP PAINS ECT... im nervous because of the movements it feels strange to me and its consistant. i told my doctor they say its normal that the berves are trying to come back together but why the weird movements? please has anyone experienced this before im worried. thank you.

mine has just been exercised, once in a while massage but not always, and then the TENS machine for like 15 minutes. no whirlpools. I go to the orthopedic tomorrow and I'm thinking about asking if I can

I know exactly what you mean. It is very hard when you're a very independent person and then all of a sudden you have to depend on everybody else for almost everything. it gets very depressing and when you don't feel like you're progressing fast enough it just gets worse. Even though we probably are progressing the way we're supposed to it doesn't feel. Even though we probably are progressing the way we're supposed to it doesn't feel like it

I didn't have the feeling of anything moving around but had the awful sharp nerve pain on the top of my foot after ankle replacement surgery. It lasted weeks and is now gone. My surgery was June 26th. I'm almost back to normal now.Good luck.
