Hello
I wondered if anyone out there has experienced Anterior Hip Replacement in France, and if you are able to advise the outcome, would you recommend it, and the best way to get started.

I was in chronic pain following Legg-Calvert Perthes disease when I was a kid. At the age of 44, had total hip replacement and it has changed my life: freedom of movement, pain free.
Be sure to understand all aspects of what is being proposed:
is the approach anterior or posterior? Why? What are the alternatives?
Is it a total hip replacement or just the femur head or the femur head and socket?
What support do you get for rehab?
What materials will be used and why?
Sorry I can’t help more with regards to specifics in France. It may be worth finding a French website to ask the same question

My THR was done in the U.S. I suggest that you post your question in the Hip Replacement forum here on Patient. You might get more responses there. Here is the link: https://patient.info/forums/discuss/browse/hip-replacement-1109
