Its very difficult getting your head around anxietyMenopause sets you up for anxiety.  Take magnesium, DIM, drop caffeine.  Exercise. And sometimes you just have to take xanax.  I know what anxiety can do to you. But you can get to a point when you feel a panic attack coming on ... and say oh its just menopause and anxiety messing with me.  It will cease. You have to understand anxiety.  There is a very good book The Anxiety & Phobia Workshop Book.  You can buy it everywhere. Excellent.  You need to be empowered with factual information.  it will put your mind at rest.

    Hi Paula!

I have suffered with horrible anxiety for 11 years. I am 45 and all of my test results point to postmenopausal. Now I wonder if, when I first got anxiety, I started to go through all of this menopause stuff. All of my mom’s side of the family started the beginnings of menopause in their mid 30’s. I am on Lorazepam for my anxiety, but wish I wasn’t because I know it’s not good for me. It’s been 11 years. I also use pure CBD oil in my vape pen and Dr Bach’s Rescue Remedy. My anxiety is well managed and funny enough, I only get high anxiety when I get sick. That’s how my husband knows something is coming.

    I hope you feel better🙂

I would not feel bad about taking anti anxiety meds.  It helps you to clam down and get back your old feeling of self.  I have to take it sometimes.  I am just glad I have it in my purse if I need it.  And sometimes just knowing its there really helps.
