Anxiety brain tumour fears

I have been having anxiety since last August. Since October I have been having headaches. I have seen around 10 doctors who have gave me nuerological exams, light in eyes etc. 2 eye tests and I still can't get over this fear of brain tumour. Sometimes the headaches are like stabbing pains, sometimes the top, sometimes the back. The main one has been a constant dull ache just above my ear on right side. I am constantly waiting to have a seizure. I check my eye pupils constantly. I have pins and needles in right hand a lot. my legs feel week. No problems with eyes except sometimes I see flashes when I blink, I'm nauseas a lot but haven't been sick. Are these signs of a tumour or just anxiety?

Honestly sounds panic attacks. There is a book called anxiety cbt for dummies its yellow and black. They have a audio version which is great or ifmyou like to read in softcover. It will take you through all the stuff you mentioned and teach you a lot. It might be of great help for you. Also maybe pop in to an opthamologist for a full eye exam.

Hi, this is an old post, but I feelyour pain.  I get those sharp quick stabbing pains and I constantly feel dizzy/lightheaded, and a brainfog/detached feeling.  I have had this sort of brain tumor fear for the past year ever since a concussion.  I have had 4 now in the past three years, so my doctor thinks my anxiety might be related to the repaeted TBI's.  Now she wants me to see a Sports medicine specialist, a neurologist, and a therapist.  I still can't shake the feeling that I have this awful disease.  I hardly ever go out anymore because I feel tired all the time, and I get into this brain fog and it's honestly very frightening.  I'll sleep for 10 or 11 hours now and still be tired.  So you're not alone.  I'm scared and I just can't help it.  I really want to belive that it's just anxiety.

For months I've been having headaches. Inconsistent headaches. Sometimes there stabbing for a few seconds sometimes they last minutes. Sometimes it's a constant dull pain on either my left or my right side of my head or both. Sometimes when I bend over my head hurts. And then now recently it's been hurting on my right side a little bit behind my right ear. I do have blurry vision and sometimes I can see faint flashy lines. Or I'm just paranoid. I have been to the doctor, she done a neurological exam I think, she made me follow a light, look at the ceiling, squeeze her fingers, she then said I done good and told me to go to the eye doctor. And she said if I ever get the worst headache in my life to go to the er sad also, after that doctors appointment my headaches went away for a few days then came back. Also I have allergies and take allergie medication. I'm really scared I have a brain tumor. (Also I have a lump on my neck that I worry about but my doctor said it was a cyst that's it's nothing to worry about but I STILL WORRY ABOUT IT )

    Did you get better ?

Since about 35 weeks pregnant I started getting right sided head pains randomly and strange i never had them before although I'm prone to headaches but this was different it went away for a few days but came back and even when I was in labour I had a headache come on my eyes also started twitching lasted a month although they stopped a week after birth and only did it now and again mainly right eye again a week after giving birth my right arm and fingers went numb this happened two times lasting about two-six hours each .

These sharp right sided head pains came back a few days ago I'm now 2 weeks pp and even when I wake to do night feeds they are there well today it turned into a headache like my old ones but only right sided it then changes to tightness in right side of head and mainly where my ear is and up I touched the area it feels sore sometimes hurts when I swallow too .

I've had several dizziness that's unexplained doctors can't explain it its asif I'm walking on a bouncy castle for some reason they aren't linking the two but tonight I feel the right side of my hesd is going to pop I'm very anxious I'm really hoping it's not a brain tumour or anyrsm but I'm pretty certain it is I can even hear noises from my head which freak me out its like something moves or something rumbles

I'm 18 years old and i've had severe anxiety and depression throughout the last month. About one week ago i felt my left ear clogged up then i noticed that my vision in my left eye was off and i have minor headaches. I also have this tingling feeling on my left side of my cheek next to my nose. However, I do self adjust my left side of my neck quite often so maybe that could be a reason of why this is happening. I'm going to schedule a appt with my doctor tomorrow. I'm not sure if this is just a reaction to my anxiety or what

Word for word this is exactly how I'm feeling.

Since having my 4th baby 11 months ago, I've been suffering headache with tingling sensation on the right side, neck ache, phantom smells (migraine aura) eye floaters and major anxiety.

Drs said it was sinus related, then anxiety and migraines but I can't shift the fear it's a tumor.

I'm on propranolol now (day 6) I have another review with the Dr in a few weeks. I'm praying these tablets start to make a difference as I just can't bare it anymore.

I was put on sertraline a couple of months ago but that affected my liver function so I had to stop it. I've had so many blood tests that have come back normal and been to optician, osteopath, sports therapist regularly and reflexologist fourtnightly.

I'm willing to try anything. It is reassuring to read others feel the same but still doesn't make my brain let go of this feeling. It's so scary.

Hi, I'm 22yrs old guy. My anxiety started February this year, a week after the burial of my father who died from a hearth attack. One night my back suddenly become tense and I felt a bit dizzy after a few hours i feel fine again but in the next day it becomes more severe, muscle spasms, twitching, dizziness, and tiredness. I went to my doctor and he prescribed me with muscle relaxant, painkillers and anti dizziness meds. At first it work fine but in the next week my symptoms got worst and the meds are not working anymore, and I started to feel palpitations, tightness in the throat, chest pain and almost fainting feeling. Its like I'm having a heart attack I was so scared. I went to a different doctor and tell her everything and she said the I'm still young for a heart attack and its probably a acid reflux and the other symptoms are anxiety caused by the recent death of my dad, she talks to me very gently and explained everything and advice me to get some test and check my heart to ease my worries, thank god she was right. Now I'm good, Ive manage my panic attacks very well, no heart attack scare anymore but I'm still fighting anxiety, it sucks that I have this new sharp pains and pressure in my back/side of my head, neck, shoulder and sometimes in some of my fingers. But unlike the heart scare, now im very optimistic that I'll be fine and its just anxiety but still checking with my doctor haha.

Reading other people story in forums and reading about anxiety and understanding it really helps, give your self a PhD In anxiety haha. And stop googling your symtoms!!. Instead of googling scary symptoms that will only lead to more anxiety just go to your doctor/gp and get check. And there's this great book called CBT for dummies. There's a free PDF download somewhere in the internet yey..

Saying "just anxiety" makes it like it so simple no big deal. Ahh you know by now it sucks and is a big deal. Its a mental disorder you are up against. You have intrusive thoughts, obsession, health anxiety and your body is drained and exhausted from it all. Have you sought counselling or spoken to your gp? This can be manageable with help. Its an awful existence to just allow it to flourish.

Yes you have migranes. And all this negative thinking and fears running thru you all the time will make you feel awful. It is not a natural state for the body to be miserable all the time. Its draining and exhausting. Time to get help. Its just really unfair to yourself to keeo this going.

I say that with love. Its a like a taste of hell on Earth and it doesnt need to be that way.
