Anxiety physical symptoms!!!!!!!!!!

Hi is it possible to have constant physical symptoms without actually being worried. Like my physical symptoms are killing me, but i don't feel i have any negative thoughts.... Like i live a happy life but Daily i find it hard and struggle with something. I now have daily dissiness, naucea, that trigger me to have panic feelings.... I also get lots of muscle tension, feel i dont sleep well, always tired, exhausted, lethargic. Suffer from chronic headaches and neck pain. I have to be in random situations for me to feel urges of anxiety, like i noticed that if i engage in a conversation with someone and start laughing i immediately start to feel off and weird and heightened anxiety. I try to avoid ppl as much as possible because of this. When there are mettings at work i dread them because i can feel my anxiety working its way up on my body to the point i feel my body is going to explode. Its weird................ By the end of the day im so tired all i want to do is get home and sleep it off. Its like everyday is a battle.

Have you asked your Dr for a thyroid panel? When I used to work in the psych ward, that was among the 1st tests they took upon admission.

Many people don't realize that a malfunctioning thyroid can cause and/ or exacerbate anxiety. Matter of fact, many things that go wrong in your body are from a messed up thyroid. Mine is a huge mess right now and I'm having major anxiety from hypothyroidism and anxiety from psychological causes as well. I found myself getting better once the thyroid levels started to get adjusted. Now I'm having stupid side effects from thyroid meds and need different kind. Its like taking 2 steps fwd and 1 step back! I need to get back on thyroid ASAP! I hope this helped you. Take care!

I had the same experiences, constantly having and finding new symptoms. it is to drive me insane. it made my anxiety so high, I didn't know if I should hide from ppl if something truly happened. I'm much better now, I see a psychologist and a psychiatrist. it's been more than 7 months seeing them and I think that is progress. sorry to hear you going through this

Stress can cause a lot of things. I am 50, female. My life was simple, no worry, happy all the time. Last year, I had a little bump in my life, and I did not feel very stress at all. But, my brain over analyzed it, caused me lost my hearing almost completely.

After that, I have anxiety symptoms 24/7: terrible head pains, body aches, chest pains and unable to sleep. I spent 6 months and many tests, found nothing wrong.

I took have chronic neck pain that wont let me sleep, wont let me function.......Gives me headaches, head numbness, headtingling, just really weird head sensations which i dislike and immediatly makes me rush into a panic attack. My doctor thinks i might have fibromialgia due to the body pain and muscle ache.

Jesika28180, you said you have Xanax, have you ever taken it? Do you have antidepressants, too? Did you see a Psychiatrist?

I had same symptoms as you, but I think more intense. I could not sleep at all for 3 months, lost 20 lbs. in 3 weeks. After suffering for 6 months, doctor gave me a pill of Xanax 0.5 mg to take before bed. Wow! I had good sleep that I could not believe.

Just saying you have all my perimenopause symptoms and I sounded just like you right before I realized it was that. Could also, just be anxiety from stress causing it. I feel for you....hope things improve soon for you. Hugs

I'm no doctor but, it normally starts in a woman's 40's and can start in their 30's. I sounded just like you when realizing that's what it was. From what I've read there's really no test to confirm it. Although, if it shows up that your hormone levels are off. Your doctor may be able to tell. My mom was hit with it at the same age so, I know now this is what it is. I've read that many doctors say you don't have it if you still have your cycle but, I've been advised that is completely false. It seems a lot of woman get hit with it and still have their cycle because it's the phase before you hit menopause. Lots of woman go to the doctor and they are referred for everything else other than them considering your hormones are out of whack. You can look it up online. No one talks about perimenopause. You can look that up online. Lots of information about it and on this website. Again, for you it could be something else but, all your symptoms are so similar to mine. I wanted to reach out. I was blindsided by it and had never heard of perimenopause myself. I was dealing with it for a long time without knowing what was wrong.

I suffer with health anxiety and I get this also.

I'll be fine and then it just hits me out of nowhere. Mine comes along with a tingly feeling in my chin and face and then I start panicking and the rest of the symptoms follow. The least little sensation that is different, sends me into a tail spin and I'm convinced I'm dying.
