Anxiety symptoms have come back!

Hi, I recently went through a hard time in my life ( my dad died) and shortly after I had exams. I went to my doctor as I started getting a ringing in my ear and weird feeling in my head. She told me both were due to stress and anxiety. She told me to join a gym as it may help with the symptoms, which it did. They completely vanished! However,I then pulled muscles in my chest which made me think I was having a heart attack. I can't go back to the gym before the muscles have healed fully. Now my symptoms are back, but not as bad. I have been trying to keep my mind off of then but even if I do for a day, when I go to bed I have problems getting to sleep worrying about my symptoms. Anyone one else have this problem? Any advice?

Thanks Jack

Have you gone to therapy at all? You have had a lot go on to rock your world. In all fairness to yiurself you should stringly consider some form of therapy.

I have ringing in my ears 24/7 and wierd head sensations.. How would you explain the wierd head sensations? Sometimes I feel like I'm

    Falling or I'm off balance..

    Was the ringing ears 24/7?

Hi heat, the weird feeling in my head is hard to explain, it's a mix between feeling off balance and head pressure. As for the ringing in the ears ( Tinnitus ). Mine was constant at the start as I was worried about it, but it is now starting to improve. It is usually unnoticeable if there is background noise. Did you go to your doctor? If not..then you should think about it. Better safe than sorry. I went and I felt 100 times better after it. I've noticed that my symptoms improve, or go completely after exercise. If you have any other questions about the ringing, be free to ask.

      Thaks for the reply, Jack

Yea I went to the ER twice and Doctor twice. But the ringing started a couple days after I saw the doctor

Did you got to ER for the ringing? If they have done any scans and nothing shows up...I'd say your fine. The main cause of Tinnitus is stress, maybe go to your local GP or even book an appointment with an ENT specialist..just try not think about it, preoccupy yourself, if you have trouble falling asleep, play some white noise in the background, your mind will focus on that, instead of the ringing.

No I went to the ER for head pressure and severe brain fog and numbness. They did an EKG/MRI no problems they saids it's anxiety and stress.

I went to a follow up doctor. He did a full blood work panel. Everything came out fine. He prescribed me paroxetine 20mg twice daily.. And I took it .. And the next day I woke up with hot flashes.. When it didn't go away I went to the ER again and they said I'm probably getting sick or a virus. But I believe the paroxetine messed me up.. Or the doctor just prescribed too high of a dose.

A week later I started having the ringing ears. I'm seeing a doctor soon to try a new medication.

Well it's great to hear the scans were clear. That means that it's either stress or a reaction to the medication the doctor put you on
