Hi there i had my fourth angiogram in september 2012 ,they did it in my left arm and the artery was too small to get the tube in and it hurt so much despite the numbing of my wrist they then injected a widening solution into my artery and said you may feel a bit of a tingle my god i felt like i was being electrocuted all over my body nasty really nasty ,after about 3 months i started to get the most severe arm pain now and again and its over a year now and the pain is getting to the point of i want to cry and i am pretty tough i am terrified to tell the doc as they may send me for another angiogram and i truly could not bear the pain of another one especially as i use a walking stick in that hand and have a bad leg and they would only have my groin to go in and its been gone into on my right side ,has anyone had anything like this please thank you ,

Hi there everyone..hoping everyone is feeling better☺I had an angiogram today...I'm 35 ..diabetic with family history of heart problems...was surprised to have this suggested. .told it was a very simply and quick test. ..false advertising. ...understatement. ..I had a radial angiogram right wrist....the have me something to help relax me and then began..needle numbed insertion point..no big deal...then came the insertion. ..not bad either. .n then the wire..or whatever moved up the ateries. Came with excruciating pain and felt like my arm was being ripped off from the inside out...the movement up my arm I could feel into my shoulder area..the chest area was mild. ..paled in comparison to the arm pain..I was crying out and telling him..the doc that it was causing pain...he said lor still it's he way done...but there would be another 25 minutes of this....and and I was given pain med...but did nothing but make me high..arm was still killing me..then they pulled it out.. .I felt as though they were pulling my soul out through my arm....I will never have this test again ...the results did  it show any issue but the doctor then tells me that women can have a normal angiogram buy still have a dangerous block I'm a smaller  vessel..was under the impression this test would.find that. ..hench why I did it...disappointed and feel like I was lied to..my arm had been in extreme pain all day..have had ice on it off and on since 10 am...any suggestions on what has helped. ..non pharmaceutical remedy first..if I need to I will do that as a last resort. .thx and I appreciate how many people have shared their experience..wish I looked for a site lie this before my test today. ..hindsight is 20/20😐

I should mention they were concerned with unstable angina..on nitro and met prop lol. .and.crestor. .nitro has helped manage my pain but not the anxiety around what the cause is. .so still without an answer  😯

Had bypass surgery in Septrmber 2015, which failed, so had to put in 6 Stents. I have been suffering with bad heartburn since and nothing the doctors prescribe gives me relief. If i am lying down sometimes I will get some relief.

Any suggestions would be most grateful.
