looks like herpes to me but pictures can be deceptive so you can be sure through a swap or IGG blood test for HSV1 and 2.
Btw Most people with herpes will be vulnerable to secondary infections such as yeast infection too .
Please make sure you get tested as your partner needs to know and any future sexual partners to avoid spreading the virus if it is herpes. Please update.

swab came back negative
Igg positive for 1&2
IGM negative for 1&2
my doctor told me if i ever had chickenpox or the vaccine it could result in positive IGG.
never had crusting, or anything. also the next day after taking that picture is was total gone. my doctor suspects i was scratched or sex wasnt lubricated enough.

Herpes virus has many strains but the chicken pox herpes strain is different from HSV 1 and 2? Can I ask what country are you from as the doctor sounds to be very ignorant about such a basic fact and you should complain.
Ignore IGM results. If the IGG results came back positive then you carry the virus.
I am assuming you did a swap on another occasion when probably it was not herpes.
Also people experience different symptoms and will all depend on their immune system, some people have only mild herpes symptoms with no crusts etc.

this all happened to me maybe 3 months ago. ive been fine since, i was curios enough to share my results and pic
& no i did a swab at the time of the thing showing up on my vagina, results came back negative. my doctor said it was a good swab.
im from the US.
so do i need medication? i never have any issues. she also told me if i ever had a cold sore it could show igg positive. i think when i was younger i used to get cold sores like every once in a blue moon. i have not had one while in adulthood.

Cold sores are another name for Herpes. So yes you have herpes and you can spread it through kissing or oral sex. Your current and future partners will need to be informed that you are positive as you can infect them.
Again you can be HSV 1& 2 positive with yeast infection as well. You said you were tested positive for both so if you ever get a yeast infection the swap will be negative for herpes but your IGG will always be positive for herpes.
Taking medication for herpes is up to you and will depend on how bad your symptoms are. However taking the medication or not is only to help you cope with the symptoms but there is no cure for herpes or a way to stop spreading it not even condoms and you can still infect people even when you have no symptoms .

okay so i was swabbed for Both
Herpes ....the swab came back negative for herpes
this is why im confused.
i was swabbed on the actual area thats shown in the picture.

Yes if the swap came back negative for herpes then the two raised spots you had were caused by the yeast. But you are still positive for both.

Hi,
is it itching or having discharge ? It is a yeast infection. Sometimes you can irritate the area if fingering while you have a Yeast infection.

i thinki was given the yeast infection because of being fingered. i had a little white discharge and no itching. i dont always itch when i get yeast infections. but i was tested at the DR's yeast came back positive

please do not listen to the people saying you have herpes looks like a horrible yeast infection with a scratch let yourself heal but try and get your yeast infection tooken care of

yes everything is all taken care of and i havent had any issues since.
i feel like i keep hearing different things from different people, articles are confusing. my doctor states im fine. i feel healthy and have been lately.
i feel like im slowly becoming anxious again about this whole thing

So if you were tested positive for HSV1 and 2 through IGG test as you have said and yeast infection then you have both. As explained most herpes positive people will have secondary infections such as yeast , to have both infections is very common.

If you have been tested positive for HSV1 and 2 in your IGG test as you have stated above then yes you can infect your partner even when you have no symptoms as you can still pass the virus through the shedding process. So if you have the virus in your genital area you can spread it to your partners finger if he fingers you or his genitals or his mouth through oral sex . By law you need to tell your current or future partners if you were tested positive for herpes as they can take you to court for infecting them. so be careful.
