hi, got these blisters recently, seem to just be getting bigger as they're in a place where i cant stop them rubbing. thought it was chafing as noticed them forming that way, but worried it could be herpes or some other STI as its in a genital area. Can anyone shed any light? I've been applying betnovate cream since monday which seems to have made them much bigger (even bigger than the pic) so will stop that... have serious health anxiety so i know i could be over-thinking it, just so scared to go to the clinic in case i'm right

Did these start as large yellowish fluid filled blisters? If so then I think it is bullous impetigo. Its slightly different to the normal impetigo...the sort that children get round their mouth.

If you think that matches how they started then there is no real treatment as it is caused by a virus and should gradually heal and disappear. They may spread a bit at first. Just keep them clean and dont burst any blisters. Betnovate wont help...stop using it.

If you start to feel unwell or you think they are spreading uncontrollably then go to your doctor . They may have become infected and you may need antibiotics.
