Awful Elbow Pain

Hi everyone,
Been on this FS ride for about 9 months to a year. (I'm a Diabetic if that even mattters, seems FS is just as nasty for Diabetics or non-Diabetics.)
This last week, been having awful pain shooting down into both elbows. Anyone else experience anything like this? It's making me nausious it's so intense.
FS is full of surprises. Yay us! LOL

Well, if I look down, I feel it just a little. Otherwise, the arm/ elbow pain comes on out of nowhere. Maybe it's related, but who knows, on my MRI they discovered I have no curve in my neck at all. Doc said was because I was in extreme pain with the FS this past 9-12 months, but no treatment.
Thanks for any opinion that you may have in advance. You're comments are always appreciated.
Hope you are feeling all right today.

How many tablets of MSM are you taking per day?

I'm doing one 1000mg capsule at night and one in the morning. I went 3 days without it and my shoulder felt like it was regressing, so I'm back on it. I too, also notice the wear off, so that's why I do the two capsules daily.

Thanks everyone
I'm taking MSM 1500MG one a day and I believe it's taken the edge off the pain but it's still aggravating.
Perhaps I'll increase it to 2 tablets.
Thanks again ?

So glad we have this place to read about things that work for this terrible condition! I started prescription Celebrex a week ago and honestly feel worse than on the MSM alone. Started adding MSM back into my day. I'm supposed to start aggressive PT 7/18 and not looking forward to it. I'm definitely still losing ROM and worried that I soon won't be able to pull up my pants?? Taking insulin has also been a pain and I'm so sick of continually asking for help with my hair on these hot days. We'll see if I can handle it or if I will pass out!

Hi Maddie,
Be careful. My Ortho who has treated many Diabtics said to never do PT during the painful stage. It could make it worse. This is a Diabetic complication for us Diabetics, so a bit different than regular FS. Theses doctors admittedly don't know much about the condition. Keep that in mind. I made mine worse with aggressive PT, just saying.
Celebrex made me feel awful. I stopped taking it. They out me in Meloxicam (sp?). Sort of helps inflammation, but so does ice. ??

Yeah I doubt I'll be able to do it. Just simple stretches make me sweat and breathe like you wouldn't believe. I figured I should at least try it since I'm getting worse it seems.

My ortho told me the tingling into my pinky and ring finger were totally unrelated to FZ. The elbow pain was horrible and of course also unrelated per 3 orthos. Since taking the MSM my tingling is now gone and the elbow pain has lessened tremendously. It would seem to make sense that the MSM decreased the swelling and whatever was pinching on the ulnar nerve has been relieved. Think all the doctors all just want to fix each issue with surgery rather than looking at the route cause. I know now for sure it's all related to the FZ.

You're absolutely correct. These factors do contribute to FS.
I'm also 44, no menopause and diabieties however my FS is due to scar tissue from surgery.
I've tried intense physio and 2 shots of hydrodilitation, this did help but still no full ROM
My surgeon recommends to go back to get this scar tissue cleaned up. This should get my ROM back.
We'll see....
