Hi guys Gary here again.

I posted a little while ago explaining that I had some symtoms of COPD and that my doctor had put down to asmtha which I did suffer from mildly as a child.

I'm now 29 and all the inhalers that were prescribed Fostair,Seretide and ventolin don't really help at all.

Iv had to go back to see my GP this week and he had now referred me to see a chest specialist as my symptoms are getting progressively worse.

I'm a little more relaxed now knowing that I will get a Propa diognosis and won't be fobbed off with "it's just your asthma " lol

Anyway I hope everyone is doing well and will keep this post updated with the results with the specialist.

Take care guys 😀

So, just had my CT scan today. It didn't show anything - no emphysema and no chronic bronchitis or excess mucus.

I'll go tomorrow for another pulmonologist oppinion and ENT doctor because I always have a stuffed nose and phlegm in my throat and that might be irritating my lungs.

      I'll keep you posted.

PS: my dyspnea has diminished a lot since the CT...I guess stress definitely has something to do with it.

I'm glad your results are good Robbie !

I'm yet to make an appointment with my GP to request a CT scan.

But I know in my head that I'm not going to relax until I get one, thing is if that it comes back that I do hVe something with my lungs I don't care I just want closure!

Anyways congratulations on the good results and I know it's rich coming from me but try to relax now and keep up the exercise 👍😊

Gary, I suggest you do it ASAP! Anxiety sometimes mostly fuels dysphnea!

I've had a run 2 days ago and a strange thing happened. I ran some 3km and stopped to get some water. Nothing different, difficulty breathing, taking those huge breaths just to get some oxygen. However, after the break, it felt like my lungs opened up and I could breathe like I didn't in years! It was amazing! I ran some 4k with 16km/h speed and didn't get tired! However, after that it all went back to 'normal'...

Nice on the running mate! Keep it up.

Yesterday I ran 3.95km in 18.45 mins I did that without stopping and atleast 4 up hill runs in it.

I then stopped for a 10 minute break then ran the same way back but struggled slightly and that was 3.49km stopped once through it and ran that in around 17 mins.

Could I do all that with a serious lung condition?? As it baffles me lol

I asked my doctor the same thing when I first started having SOB and she said that as the disease starts, you can...Better go for the CT scan for your mental confort.

Right then went back to doctor yesterday and he's not going to send me for a CT scan because of the amount of spirometry tests iv done and the 2 X-rays.

He's saying that if I had any sort of lung condition it would have shown. Makes sense I guess.

He has referred me to a new clinic called "medically unexplained symtoms clinic" never heard if it before but it is quite new.

I'm in there on the 14 th Aug so will keep you updated on how I

Get on. Have a great weekend

Well my GP won't send me for a ct scan but now seen a head doctor who is cinvinced my symtoms are down to my anxiety!? If there is anything wrong with my Iungs the condition will get worse so I'm going to go with the flow and see what happens.

    All the best
