Bad vibes about THP

How do you deal with negative comments from immediate family members putting you off from doing the surgery who are completely uneducated about hip replacement surgery and do not want to?  I am looking forward to my operation april but I am getting pulled down alot lately!

    Yes, it is the posterior approach.  I completly understand the "boss" thing.  I pretty much "ran" my bosses business for her, so when i told her about my surgery, she froze.  When she realized how bad it had been for me, she came around and was happy for me.  I have been out of work almost 2 months now and plan on 1 more month out.  What kind of work do you do.   I have to do what is good for me, regardless of what others think. Just as you have to do what is right for you!!!  I wish you nothing but luck!!!  Please keep in touch.  Any questions, just ask, we are all here for you....  Ginny USA
