Balanitis?

Posted , 2 users are following.

Hello, been experiencing some new problems. A few days ago I noticed some red bumps, now there’s some whiteish spots and peeling on the glans of my penis. Seeing if anyone had similar problems and or issues. Also if anybody has any idea what it may be or what it is. Doctors appointment is in two days just anxious to see what it may be..

What's on your glans definitely looks like balanitis, which isn't usually serious.  There's a large swelling on your foreskin though, which looks more concerning, so it's definitely worth getting checked out.  The swelling may just be a lymphocele, which would be harmless and would typically go away by itself, but I'm not sure.  If you could update this thread and tell us what the doctor says, it would be appreciated.  Good luck.

Your post took a while to be approved btw as it contained a link outside the site.  You need to be on a PC or laptop to add pictures directly.  If you are, then you should see some extra icons towards the top right of where you type, and the right hand icon (which I think is supposed to look like the sun over hills) will add images.

The pic I've attached here shows the icons:

It's hard to say without a picture, but it does sound like balanitis.

If it is, then these links may help:

Washing (with water, no soap) daily, and taking a leak and washing after masturbation or sex will probably help, and you could also try Canesten cream or Daktarin cream.  Loose fitting cotton underwear may help, and some sites recommend washing underwear with non-biological washing powder or liquid.
