Good question, I just started using it a week ago. Also using Stinging needle root and Pygeum.

I've been eating pumpkin seeds obsessively for about six months. I think there is an improvement in my condition. BPH symptoms don't seem as acute generally though I did start taking Alfuzosin about two months ago. Generally I think there has been improvement from the Beta-sitosterol contained in pumpkin seeds.

yes i had success for a while but after a couple of years effectiveness of the beta sisterol was not consistent. Finally had to get PAE and now symptoms have improved.

Any product that is unregulated is a waste of money. They do nothing.

Every herbal product for BPH is a scam. Especially watch for those that try to get you to "subscribe." They are hard core crooks. Save your money for genuine treatment.

There is now legislation introduced in congress to put these scammers out of business.

And you are basing this on what scientific study??

20 years of personal experience and thousands of dollars wasted.

I understand and I somewhat agree but I sure hope they do not stop looking and trying. I feel the same way you do about those wonderful drugs the urologist give out for BPH. These only work for a few years and make you unable to have the sex life you once had along with the other side effects.

The thing every one must be aware of is that no matter what treatment you select it does not stop or prevent the rapid cell reproduction of the glands tissue that is the cause of this condition. No matter what or how much tissue you reduce through one of these treatments. The fact is the prostate still multiplies rapidly in the future. So I guess I am saying this is a condition for life.

Where ever one can find relief with the fewest side effect is the path to take and that path will change several times over ones life span. Since it does not kill you, they really don't care to find a cure. It is much more lucrative to treat the ongoing condition as most older men will have it and it does not kill them. All of them, they make lots of money on our Hopes and Prays.

I would suggest if you want to try a good quality Beta-Sitosterol

you should look into the products of a company that is called Raw Forest Foods.

Their products are of outstanding quality. Additionally, you should take 15 mg

of Lycopene which you can get at several places and is all natural from tomatoes.

They work VERY well together for the prostate and , and in fact because of that

fact, clinical trials are now ongoing on them. Good Luck

Let us know when the clinical trials are published.

It will be posted at Clinical trials dot gov.

What if the clinical trials don't pan out? What if you never hear anything? The public has been gullible for a long time because they want instant relief. It's about time that those who were taken advantage of are speaking out, This forum is the place to start.
