Good afternoon team - let the mower walk me around the lawn slowly today but delighted. I did buy stuff to prepare the house and am done with much of it. I will be putting on ebay - walkers x 2, grabbers x 4, crutches - all as new if you want to PM me

Already dispensing with the walking aids?  Wow, I'm impressed.  Of course, just having the one hip done there's always a chance I might need my stuff for the other one.  I hope not though.

Thank you for sharing your experience!  I'm having bilateral hip replacements in two days, so I found this very useful.  I'm glad to hear that you came through it alright and it's not too bad.  I have a great support system at home.  I can't wait for the pain to be gone!

      Be positive and determined

      simply 'submit'

      Take your meds

Do your exercises - and a bit more

Good luck - you will be fine.

I am back to work today just mornings - I have a managerial desk job tho. Will sleep in the afternoons

Kudos to you!  I am self-employed, so I can work anywhere, but I'm taking some time off completely.
