I've just been prescribed 2.5mg of Bisoprolol to help with my SVT and I petrified of taking it. Does anyone else take it and does it help? Thanks

Hi my mum has bad svt brisopolol has really helped her. I think it depends on the seriousness of your condition and the dosage you have been given my mum started on a low dosage and it did not help so she was then put up to 7.5mg and these really help her she has only had 1 svt episode in 4 years since taking it. Her doctor decided to up her dose when her blood pressure was high onto 10mg and this really didn't fit she body it made her itch and so she then came back to 7.5mg. She still gets heart flutters as she calls them but she has not had a full svt attack since taking them.
