Bit worried

Hi guys am new here

I started (citph) in Dec had a baby in August hit rock bottom with postnatal depression so went on to start the medication am so glad that I did I started on 10mg then up to 20 then out of the blue the cracks started to appear so doctor put me up to 30 nothing happened seemed I was stuck then at 35mg back to feeling better

What concerns me is in a short space of time I've gone up quite a bit and I am terrified after reading an article that the maximum dose of citphm is 40mg so what happens if that stops working like 20mg.

Hiya, I've been on 40mg before then dropped to 20mg 7 years ago, 4 weeks ago I went back up to 40mg wish I had done it gradually but I suppose I got all the nasty side effects over and done with in one go 😀

Hi sheltisha I didn't have any side effects really to be honest am on 40 now and I feel good

It just freaked me out to go up so high after only a couple of months. I was worried its one of those tablets u have to keep putting up and up

U must be very strong just to take it straight in a 40

I had hit rock bottom with anxiety and to be honest I would of taken anything at the time lol,, I'm glad u didn't get any side effects. It's funny as when I went to 40 before I didn't get side effects either but this time I did. To be fair this time round when on 20 I did forget to take my meds multiple times missing 3 days every week most probably why I slipped and got side effects but all good now 😁
