Bleeding from the anal area

I have LS from front to back and recently bleeding from the anus on going to the toilet and sometimes with bleeding. After examination my doctor thinks it from the LS due to splitting. Does anyone have a similar experience?

I have exactly the same problem. Was treated by GP for anal fissure but when that didn't help he sent me to a gyno. By that time, the white keyhole pattern of LS was evident. She said that indeed it was LS that was the cause of all the problems - thinning and fragile skin so susceptible to cracking. I do the routine clobetasol twice a week plus constant moisturizing with coconut oil mixed with a dab of celadrin cream.

Yes, similar experience. All I can say is: it will pass. Some gentle care will help and make sure not to get too constipated.

I have had bleeding from the anus on occasions. I try not to freak out, instead use lots of moisturiser - especially before going to the toilet. Best of luck!

keeping the bowels 'loose' is not easy for me for some reason. I consulted a Naturopath who suggested that I add magnesium citrate and acidophilus
to my routine. I also now drink fruit or vegetable smoothies
to which I add Metamucil or psyllium fibre. I find this a real pain, but if I don't do all this every day, I regret it.
