Bleeding from the anal area

I have LS from front to back and recently bleeding from the anus on going to the toilet and sometimes with bleeding. After examination my doctor thinks it from the LS due to splitting. Does anyone have a similar experience?

Hi everyone,  I was advised by a friend to try this a while ago and it worked for me.  When sitting on the loo for a pee she told me to lean forward slightly so that the urine does not capilliary backwards around the anus.  It aggravates Ls to have strong urine on things.  I now do this regularly along with using Clobetasol (Dermovate) ointment twice a week and Epaderm to wash, moisturise and protect things down there.  I always apply Epaderm after washing and visiting the toilet.  I cleanse with it regularly throughout the day and use extra sensitive baby wipes to cleanse if I am out, I use disabled toilets if I can as they have a basin next to the toilet which makes it easier to clean up after, particularly removing the moisturiser from my hands if necessary. (I consider this condition a disability as I am restricted in my activities due to this if I do not cleanse regularly.)
