Blocked ear due to anxiety

I wrote on hear a few weeks back. I explained that I was suffering from a blocked ear, I was using steroid nose spray all the time to unblock it and I was suffering from dizziness, reduced vision sometimes in one eye, foggy mind and anxiety.
It turns out the ear problem was a symptom of anxiety. I cannot believe it, I thought the ear was causing anxiety but it's the other way round. It turns out anxiety can trigger physical issues that you would never put together. I haven't had a single issue with my ears now since I learnt it's anxiety and it was really impacting my life before this for nearly a year. Now I'm being treated for anxiety, I notice that the dizziness happens when anxiety is triggered. Since I'm learning how to deal with it my life is becoming much better. Anyone that has anxiety as a symptom of a blocked ear please check this out. BTW I was so surprised I had anxiety because I'm so happy, confidant never had issues with it before so you just never know.

I am here on the internet looking up pressure in the ears or blocked ears and so on lol. I was happy and healthy just before christmas, and then bam, hit with a few different ear things from, pressure in the ear that would kill me almost, that would make my ears ring and everything and I've had to sit up in bed until it calmed down. something about laying down especially, brings on these pressure attacks. anyway, I'm going to see an ENT next month but could it be this is anxiety? I'll feel better once he checks everything out and I also thought this would be fluid in my ears also but I have a feeling he's going to say everything is fine. I don't know, can the brain really do this to us, I felt fine a few weeks ago, and now this is totally turned my world upside down in a sense. waiting to see doctors is grueling here in Canada lol

I was recently diagnosed as having Sinus congestion with ear pressure, I was prescribe 2 courses of antibiotics back to back. I decided to got to a private ENT specialist, I was given an audiogram and an MRI scan which showed that my sinuses were clear. The ENT specialist said that the headaches and ear pressure were possibly linked to Migraine headaches. I say this with total respect to the medical opinions, that I strongly believe that my ear pressure symptoms were and have been due to anxiety which has built up slowly over the past 12 monthe due to constant business worries etc.
As soon as my belief that my ear condition was possibly Anxiety related I took steps to try and remedy the problem which was, using relaxation methods to calm my nervous system, altered my diet from being full of negative foods to a more healthier diet. I also chilled out listening to beautiful relaxing music for help with my nervous system. After about 2 weeks I am convinced that my ear pressure was in fact due to anxiety. I am so pleased that the pressure headaches and ear pressure situation have vastly improved to the point of more or less gone. I have also learned that anxiety is probably linked to a lot health issues that we all at some stage in our lives encounter. In my humble opinion I would say to take care of your nervous system and your diet for an overall longer better healthier life.
