Book: Living with PMR and GCA

This is not the start of a discussion. I just wanted to re-point out that this is a very valuable read for people like me, new to our condition. It is also a good read for our spouses. It is hard on them too and we cannot expect that they know anything about what we are going through without reading up on it as well. It can be read easily in two days and provides a wealth of practical ideas. $8.99 kindle edition on Amazon.

Highly recommended.

Roberta, you are not a dolt  at all.   You will be the 19th person from the States.  Thought you might like to see what one of your compatriots said:

I just received the most informative booklet put out by PMR-GCA UK Northeast.

I highly recommend it for anyone who has either or both of these conditions.  It will prove to be a tremendous help. Pretty much anything you may want to know is contained in the booklet.  Very well done!

If you are interested just let it be known and someone will respond with ordering directions. The name of the booklet is, "Living With PMR&GCA

I also received the DVD but haven't had a chance to look at it.

      Audrey USA.

So I have sent you a PM with all the details you need. If you would like to be put in contact with Audrey, just put your address in a PM to me and it will be done.  smile

Hi Roberta, for the other book you can just go the Amazon's website and order from there: Polymyalgia Rheumatica and Giant Cell Arteritis: a survival guide. 2nd edition by Kate Gilbert.

I am in the US too. Even easier when you have a kindle.
