Boredom

Posted , 10 users are following.

I'm just bored.  I've already cooked today...and cleaned....and its only 3pm here....I feel like drinking because I had a random test yesterday and they can not possibly test me until next Monday.

I just do not know what to do with myself when I am this bored. I can't even go to an AA meeting because the next one in my area is at 5pm.

I left all my medication at the hospital yesterday after a Pulmonary visit and i don't even feel like going to get it...actually I'm not going to get it...it is pouring rain here...and the highway is probably busy now for this time of day....I hate this feeling.

    Hi Missy

It's interesting what you say about boredom.  I have a very busy and active life, yet I too get that feeling of boredom.  I don't know if it's been caused by the booze.  Hope you are feeling better now

When booze has a hold on you everything seems boring without it

In my case nicole....at this point in my life...even drinking is boring....I just sit here..smoke and drink..don't turn on TV or computer.

Well, usually the first day drinking...I will get on computer...but if I continue after day 1 drinking...nothing comes on...it progresses as you get older.

I think for me...it has more to do with mental illness...and I think when I drink...the mental illness is affected in a negative way....making every emotion and negative thought 10x worse.

I think my real problems with drink started when we got our first pc,I would go on chat sites and drink,it was like a social thing.

I used to go on friends reunited that had a forum and chat site, still have friends on my Facebook from there
