Bowel movements changed after hip replacement.

Had hip replacement 9 weeks ago, everything going well but my bowel movements and consistency since the operation have changed. Has this happened to anyone else? I had spinal anesthetic and sedative, the recovery has been really good apart from lumpy feeling in thigh when sitting.....which I hope will wear off but would like to hear if anyone else has had bowel changes. Thanks all.

maybe you need probiotics, they give us a lot of antibiotics during this surgery which can mess up your bowel flora

True to say I have and still am experiencing this on my 7th week. Think I try probiotics and prune juice. Hope that helps!?!??
