Breath smells like faeces (Poo)

I have this horrid poo smell from my mouth. I brush my teeth twice a day, floss, use Dentyl PH mouthwash, I have the best oral hygeine of anyone I know but I still have this smell. I am too embarrassed to even ask my flriends or family to tell me my breath stinks. I am becoming totally reclusive because of it. Id rather go to my GP and tell him ive got an STD. I know ive got it coz sometimes people look around and ask if ive farted, and I see people with babies smelling their nappies when I speak. It really is starting to badly affect my life but I just cant pluck up the courage ot go to my GP. How on earht can i ay \"DR, My breath smells like poo!\" Please, if anyone has any tips let me know.

Hi, i was aware I had pooh breath for atleast 18 years of my life, and had tried all sorts of things and read about all possible causes. One thing that worked was california breath, but I stopped using it when I read the ingredients and saw that it contained citric acid, as I thought this would actually be bad for my teeth. Anyway, to cut a long story short, last year I very nearly died from hydrocephalus (fluid on the brain) which was caused by a colloid cyst in my brain. After I had the cyst removed, my bad breath totally dissapeared and my sinuses are so much clearer. The cyst was in a location where it was causing my sinuses to be blocked and causing bad breath. Not to worry anyone, as what I had is very rare, like 3 in a million people, but i've still never read about anyone having bad breath because of a brain cyst, so, I thought it would be good to share my experience.

Update - I mentioned this to my neurosurgeon on my last visit and he seemed suprised as the cyst was not in a location anywhere near my sinuses, but the bad breath definitely 1 million % has gone so must have been caused by it. He said he may write a case study on me as not heard of this as a symptom of colloid cyst before.

Hi Chris, my brother and colleagues called an ambulance for me as I became unresponsive at work one day. My brother had come to collect me to take me home but they couldn't get me in his car. I had signs leading up to that day and had even been to the docs the day before but sent home with some betablockers. I had slipped into a coma and had to have emergency brain surgery to insert a drain to allow the excess fluid out, and then a second op to remove the cyst. Spent 4 or 5 days in critical care and was on a life support machine when I first went in. My brain had started coning and i'm so lucky to be alive! All recovered now though.

    Hi Guest

    My name is Hoc Ly

    Nice to meet you

    What is your diet?

    Vegan Vegetarian or Meat Based?

How often to you use the Bathroom a day?

How much water do you drink a day?

How much sitting do you do?

How much exercize do you do a day?

Bassically my point is our breath is connected to our throats connected all the

way to our rectums. For most people, they live in a caged modernized Monsanto

diet deprived of nature real self grown foods and sit alot everyday.

The solution is waking up early every day at least by before son rise

drinking lots of water doing chi gong and using the bathroom before they

    eat.

Most people do not know they are suppose to poop before they eat in the

mornings and they need to use a squattty potty so that all poop leaves their body.

The smell is caused by not squatting when we poop so there is still a lot of poop

inside the body over time. It builds up and the breath has a smell.

So look up aryuveda and chinese methods of health

    and do your own research.

    Love Hoc Ly!

Surely everybody would have poo breath if that were the case? I eat a normal diet with lots of fruit n veg. Very little dairy and I drink lots of water. I am regular and go to the toilet every day usually after breakfast in the morning.

If you do then I suggest you help us but if you dont have poo breath than I suggest you shut up. I am a mother of 4 and all my kids have the same problem. POO BREATH. My eldest son is 21 and a very active football player. My youngest daughter who is 7 is in Ballet and very active as well. We all are active and are vegetarian and taking all our necessary supplements. Yet we are struggling with this evil or should I say. Not so fortunate to have good bacteria in our body. I used to have chinese friends who smell like poo but worst. And you are saying to look up for chinese methods. I tell you this. This chinese friends of mine have done everything from vegetables to fruit and nothing help. And yes we did our own research and help each other as BB sufferes on this forum. You shouldnt be here in here and write those dump suggestions. Find somewhere to apply your stupid suggestions. And yes we all go toilets normally as everyone else.

You are so right! Yes I agree about having to poop completely before you eat, about the squatting posture, about the vegan diet etc. But having failed in all these respects, you need to reset the digestive system through a laxative once a month, stomach wash--once a week and switching to healthy eating habits. To get rid of cysts in the intestine, a gastroenterologist can give a line of treatment. Normal antibiotics cannot dislodge the bacteria which are protected by cysts in the gut. So go to the specialist.
