Hi there . Have just been described Bu Tran today for really bad back pain that is on going for about 4 year now. I have been in tramadol 6 per day for the last 2year. After reading some info & threads about this patch I am a little concerned that it can get addictive. I would love to hear from anyone that has used this type of med . Thank you for reading .

Hi Liz I have Szi joint problems which causee referred pain from hands to toes at times.

I am on tramadol SR, IR and Endone for breakthrough pain as I've had a codeine addiction in the past my doctor didn't want me to get back on it buying from chemist. Also on indithemicin an NSAID prescribed by specialist x

I didn't hear of endone before Jo. Is that a pain killer also ? It's my lower back middle of it & down my right leg shooting pains into my toes & sometimes down into my groin area (most unpleasant ) how do you find the med your on is going Jo? X

Hi Liz, I've been on 10 mcg for 3 years. The only problem I had was hot flushing of my skin, it didn't last long. I tolerated the med pretty well. Well enough that I was able to sleep. Prior to the patch my pain wouldn't allow for much sleep. Pain without sleep can be wicked. I'm not sure if it's addictive but I will say that I'm getting ready to stop because I can't afford it anymore :-(  My biggest concern besides the pain and insomnia coming back is the fear of bad withdrawal symptoms. So for now, I don't regret being on the patch I've been able to have some sort of life while on it. I have anxiety about having to go back to the horrible condition I was in before the patch. There was no let up in my pain. I'm not sure if that anxiety is normal or if it's a sign of addiction. I've never been addicted to anything. Hope this helps.
