I was getting dressed this morning, in preparation for my daughter's birthday lunch later today.

I picked out a necklace I used to wear often while at work. It has a quite short chain and would sit nicely on my collarbone. I put it on and thought I was being strangled! OMG, it was like a tight band around my neck.

So now wearing a longer chain necklace to complement my very lose top and yoga pants! I was horrified :-(

It will go away once you get to a lower dose.

I have two bracelets, one a magnetic one and the other a Nominations one I was given a few years ago. I had to give up wearing both because they were simply too tight and pinched even at the narrowest bit of my wrist - and my wrists are small compared to all my friends. Now both bracelets are a good 2in further up and getting to the "Is this too BIG now" stage.

Have a lovely birthday lunch and enjoy your day.

Susanne, as Eileen has said, the unwanted "extras" around your neck will disappear as you reach the lower doses - my collar bones almost disappeared whilst on steroids!  Keep that necklace safe - you WILL be able to wear it again.

Have a lovely lunch and happy birthday wishes to your daughter - a Taurean like me.....but a much younger one!

Thanks Eileen and MrsO. We had a great lunch and I managed fine. Just a short train journey and a five minute walk to the restaurant.

    I'm a Taurean as well! :-)
