I'm assuming they did the camera thing up your urethra since you've seen two specialist. If you get nowhere with this then maybe it's gynecological? It might be worth checking with a gyno Dr.

I have seen gyno dr that was second specialist she's put me on amitriptaline tabs and given me the oestrogen cream and done examination ( she says everything looks normal and fine) everything given made no diff to pain. I am supposed to be going back to see gyno but got to wait till end of July!! Hard when in so much discomfort and pain sad

How frustrating that has to be. I'm sure you've done all the Google searching you can too. I can't think of what else to suggest. I'm sure sorry.

    hi Holly

i know you saying there's no infection.. what i've tried before is drinking baking soda in water it really helped ...

just a half a teaspoon while you are waiting to see what else can work

however try not to drink too much of it

    try googling it

sorry to hear u have this problem , it can realy dampen everything

I had the same thing happen to me and it turns out I have a condition called Interstitial Cystitis. Basically it is inflammation of the bladder lining causing dysuria. If you haven't looked into this I'd recommend doing so. smile

Hello, as someone who went through something similar for months I hope my solution can help you. It may sound silly but I suggest you buy some probiotics for women. And for a more immediate relief buy some kombucha to drink daily. It may not taste the best but it was literally the only thing that helped me in the end. This is especially important if you have gone through a cycle of antibiotics since they usually kill the good bacteria along with the bad.

I had unexplained burning once. I just started drinking loads of cranberry juice and it went away.

    Hi Holly

I’ve been dealing with the same for over 3 years. 4 Urologists, 3 Gyns later and countless Rx trials and I’m still not in control of symptoms. I did have some relief for about 6 months by taking Vesicare and Myrbetriq together, but symptoms came back. I have a question, do you find your burning is worse at different times?? It seems to be the most prevalent for me at night, is that the case for you too?

Hi Brittany. Are you still experiencing the symptoms? I am desperate for answers as I too am experiencing burning, frequent urination, and pressure when urinating. I am so afraid it is IC. I already had a urodynamics test and the dr said it was overactive bladder but I dont agree since it shouldn't cause pain and burning. I think I should do a cystoscopy but I'm petrified. Please let me know if you are any better or found help.
