burning urethra no uti

had a burning urethra no uti for years now painful to wee aswell seen two specialists and had lots of tests they cant find anything taken amitrptline and oestrogen cream for urethra but still not luck have to drink loads of water but doesnt always help with pain anyone else have these symptoms???

    My daugthers going through same but with very painful periods too! Been on Yasmin for 5 years. And codiene. Now on Metamic Acid too! Last 9 months she’s had painful peeing. No UTI, NO IC or ENDO. Had a Minerva coil fitted in the hope it helps with periods. Will ween herself off Yasim to see if this helps. As there is a suggestion its linked to IC symtoms. Pouring a warm jug of water over her pubic bone when peeing  does seem to help! But obvoiusly cant do this when out. I am encouraging her to look at her acid/ alkaline balance and diet to see if there are any trigger foods. ( eg: tomatoes, concerntrated citric juices, spicey food which she really enjoys). She does not drink alcohol, is mainly vegetarian/ vegan. How are you doing a year on from your post? best wishes

    Hi all, I’m 17 (male.) and I seem to be having the same issue. Constant burning in my urethra for 4 months now and it’s depressing. Been to the doctors twice now and I did a urine culture for bacteria and nothing showed up. Was on 2 different bacterial meds for 10 days at a time nothing helped. I’d like to note I have awful allergies, since I was born, and bad skin conditions.  This has been bothering me for quite some time. I’ve broken down, cried a lot.  It’s scary ya know? I think it may be Prostatitus, for me at least, and maybe you. All my symptoms rack up, burning  urethra, worse at night, peeing a lot and at night and not big amounts either. And pain in my anal area, like swollenness when I wipe. Sorry for the TMI. I’ve been googling way too much and scaring myself so much. I hope we can talk about this some more. Kinda like a support group haha.

    I'm suffering from urinary burning/ pain too from last six months. It usually starts after I pee and lasts anywhere upto half an hour to 2 hours and goes away. Urine tests came out normal, kidney and bladder ultrasound came normal. I am waiting for a gyno. I tried eliminative diet but it didnt work. Only thing that eased my pain off from last one month is TERAZOSIN 2 mg. One of the doctor is very confident that I am suffering from overactive bladder which is causing spasms and my bladder is not relaxing properly. To be honest this is the only medication which is keeping my symptoms under control. First week I didnt notice much difference. Lot of dizziness and low bp which is normal when you start it. But very minimal burning and no pain since last 3 weeks.
