Hi I have had symptoms of burping and a pain in my back between my blades for some time now, put on ppi and it's was a little better, the burping hasn't stopped and the pain comes on goes , if I lay down ,it's better and it's better in the morning. When I sit in my van and drive my back gets worse, anyone else have something similar .

Hi Gordon,
I am experiencing symptom very similar to yours. I am burping a lot with pain in between the blade radiating towards the right side. Its completely off once I stand up or sleep but present once i sit or bend. Was there any solution you got over the years.
I also have sore throat which I am not able to get rid off.

I've walked a mile in your shoes. I believe it all started when I began exercising. I noticed that I was burping excessively. That went on for about a month so I visited my doctor. She diagnosed me with dyspepsia/ indigestion/ acid reflux. She prescribed Dica and Raniticidin. That didn't work. I went to another doctor, she prescribed Omeprazole. It worked like a charm. Unfortunately, the burping returned months later when I decided to do some situps. I felt gas bubbled up my neck instantly. The belching was worse and it came along with a burning sensation on the left lower part of my back. Sometimes I feel the middle of my back , on my spine , have mild pain. It burns whenever I sit upright but when I lie down, the burning subsides. I got Omeprazole again, and I hope it works. At the end of 2 weeks, I will give an update. If it doesn't work I'll have to see a gastroenterologist.

i've been having mild discomfort in upper right back, only during a burp...i have some muscle tension and anxiety..does anyone know what could be causing the simultaneous pain with burp? do you think its serious? its been going on for a couple months. thanks

i have had a weird burning sensation in my upper right back everytime i burp, just to the right of my upper spine left of ahoulder blade a little lower - it is been happening for about six months and it happens whether I actually burp or it is just is that feeling of pressure like a silent burp. any ideas why?
