    Hello everyone.

I have burping and backpain for about 8 months. I have gone to 3 doctors. I have taken some medicines like omperazole, pentoprazole, pancreatin, domeridone and ...

when i take these, my symptoms are better but when i stop to take them every symptom comes back and there is not any difference in my backpain now in comparison to 8 months ago.

I have doubted to another thing. Before i experienced these symptoms I had stressfull condition in my job. After afew months this hurtback started.

I want to ask you to everyone that have you had any stressful experience in your job or in your family life before you felt these symtoms?

I am exausted to go to doctors. Because they can not understand my problem. Everything i know is that this pain is related to my stomack (belly) but i want to know weather it is related to stress or not.

      Hi Saeed05263,

I have the same condition, it’s been 5yrs now still aching especially when I eat something that causes me hurt burn and acid reflux. I burp then it hurt. I even went to massage regularly hoping it would go away with it. Then I went to Physical Therapist, finished my 12session but didn’t do any good. Funny you said you were very stressed before it started for you, I was the same before I got married, I got pregnant and lost my job and then my boyfriend back then has another woman and left me alone. After I gave birth about 2 years later, this upper back pain by my scapular, especially on the right side, it started and never go away ever.  Sometimes it’s scary to hear cracking sounds from it.. hope you find cure soon, if I do find, I’ll let everyone know in this forum.

      Thanks for your reply.

5 years?! You scared me Jancel.

Does it affect your body like weight loss as you said it is difficult and hurtful when you eat.

My pain is emerged when i usually burp and when i am hungry. It exists for about 10 times a day. Doctors say it maybe the combination of stomack and my back's bones. I am confused. The only thing that i am sure it is related to my stomack is  that every time i take stomack medicines, my all pains go away. But i can not take them all the time by myself without examination of any doctors, you know those pills and capsules are side effects.

I hope you find cure very soon too.

      Hi Saeed,

Yes 5 years- but I take Nexium it’s over the counter medicine here in US. I am not sure where are you at right now but I hope you can Nexium too, it might work for you too.. I take it for about a year now, it helps immensely but I have to stop taking every 2 or 3 months cuz I am worried I’ll be dependent on it. Well first 2 years I lose weight, but I gained weight the last two years too, so I don’t think this back pain from burping has anything to do with my weight gain & loss..

I am from emirates. I will look for Nexium.

As i understood these upper backpain is related to our stress life and because of that most of doctors are not able to cure them forever. I hope we would find cure for it.

Another guys in the forum can come and say that they had stress or not before this pain.

Just a word of warning.  I had similar problems to those described above some years ago and tried Nexium as recommended here.  It turned by system around.  If I had had the the choice now I would never have touched it.  That is just my experience - but wanted to relay it.  It has taken a long time to try to stave off the negative results of trying this drug.  Caveat emptor.

      Hi Bruce,

Thanks very much for your input. I agree with him Saeed, we all have different body systems and therefore different reactions from medicines, please try and check with your doctor first before taking anything again, I just don’t wanna be an influence if this turned out to be bad for your health.. prayers we all find cure on this long  suffering..

Jancel, are your pain decreased or increased when you eat?I mean my pain does not relate to the foods I eat. For example a lemon is a fruit that increases acid but it does not affect on me. But I am sure my pains are related to my stomack.

      And for the last question

Have your pain increased in relation to the past when it was started?

And yes you are right, i will ask my doctor about medication.
