BV CURED!

Posted , 390 users are following.

I was pretty excited to come on this site to share what has cured me because i know how frustrating bv is and i am sure some of you have tried many things.

I had bv for 3 months. I am just now getting over it. I had gone to the doctors twice and have taken metronidazole and clindamycin. both intravaginal gels. Both gave me unwanted side effects and my symptoms came back after a week with both. I have also tried douching with h202 and vinegar for 5 days but it did not cure me while taking acidiphilus tablets and inserting two vaginally. It did not cure me. Little by little the itch would come back.

After a lot of research i was determined to fight this as I have seen many women have it for years and not have any solutions. Here are my findings and I am proud to say I am bv free! I take a vitamin b complex with folic acid 800, vitamin d3 5000iu and acidiphilus daily. do some research on it and test it out, i promise you wont be disappointed!

Hello everyone! So, I'm a 35yo Hispanic woman and I've been battling with BV for nearly a decade. The doctors just perceive the usual stuff... antibiotics, antifungals, yeast infection medications... it just keeps coming back. And the antibiotics were messing with my gut flora. I honestly think that the only time I smell "normal" is when I'm menstruating. On top of it all, I have an allergy to animal proteins, so ingesting or inserting yogurt vaginally only makes matters worse.

I've tried everything. Vinegar douches, Coconut oil, rephresh... I was at my wit's end. I'd almost convinced myself that I'd smell this way forever, so I might as well get used to this being my new, "normal" smell.

In a hail Mary move, I read one last forum. This one. And I kept reading about inserting a vitamin c capsule vaginally. So I did it. I figured I had nothing to lose.

It absolutely worked. The BV symptoms disappeared overnight. To be sure, I did it again last night. My vagina didn't like that too much and I've got a discharge that smells like a vitamin pill down there. So I'll wait till it clears out and see what the result is.

    I'm over the moon.

Hello kittyKarla79 what brand vitamine c and is it in capsul form. Do you crush it up. And is it working still?

Tracey43179, I bought it on Amazon but I'm sure you can get it elsewhere.

It's easiest to insert, I find, whole. Like a suppository. Just push it up there as far as your finger will go. No need to fish it back out. It dissolves right in there.

I've only done this for 2 days but the BV symptoms disappeared with the first dose. The second dose may have been overkill and I'm waiting for that to clear.

I'll post as soon as this second pill clears.

I got some vitamin c tablet and some chewable ones, which would be better? I used the tablet form one last night and have had pain in the abdomen this morning could it be related? Also I've had nothing this morning which is good but also worried tablet hasn't dissolved as previous posts state the tablet creates it's own mess and to wear a liner.

Are you still BV free? Please tell me how long you did the vitamin c vaginally. How strong were the tablets? How often did you have to insert them before it was gone? And do you still use them? Thanks!

Vitamin c got so here's hoping. Will it kill the outrageous discharge?

I tried the vitamin c and it burned so bad I felt like I wanted to jump out of my skin. It didn't cure BV for me. Coconut oil made me bleed. Now I'm on Boric Acid. I'm bleeding more but it may be from the coconut oil.

First spotting, now actual bleeding. Period not due until next week.

    HELP!!

Please be careful with boric acid, it can thin out the vagina. I used it, it worked but then it broke the skin, I bled and the BV came back with a vengeance, I'm guessing due to the damage it caused. I went to the ER and they looked and it damaged me right by my cervix. I want to try to use boric acid again after I feel completely healed but I'm nervous. It got in my blood stream caused dizziness and crazy heart rate. I did not get boric acid poisoning though, it wasn't enough, but boric acid poisoning is possible! I've tried it all too, but I am very skeptical of putting vitamin c in there. I'm lost, I don't know. Boric acid is dangerous but it does work. Just use with caution, maybe insert 1 capsule a day vaginally.

okay i get bv but once i take medicine my doctor prescribes i get a yeast infection and then bv comes back. i think i may even have both but i also have a lot of pain down there not just the smell. the things you said to use will they help with the irration as well?

I am the same way. i no longer use med that dr prescribes it a waste for me. Google boric acid suppositories they are the best and work for both.

The boric acid capsules help a ton- but still arent' getting rid of it! I've been using them for two months now. Did you have to use them for a really long time before you could cut down on how often you used them? sad At my wits end. Please help.
