BV CURED!

I was pretty excited to come on this site to share what has cured me because i know how frustrating bv is and i am sure some of you have tried many things.

I had bv for 3 months. I am just now getting over it. I had gone to the doctors twice and have taken metronidazole and clindamycin. both intravaginal gels. Both gave me unwanted side effects and my symptoms came back after a week with both. I have also tried douching with h202 and vinegar for 5 days but it did not cure me while taking acidiphilus tablets and inserting two vaginally. It did not cure me. Little by little the itch would come back.

After a lot of research i was determined to fight this as I have seen many women have it for years and not have any solutions. Here are my findings and I am proud to say I am bv free! I take a vitamin b complex with folic acid 800, vitamin d3 5000iu and acidiphilus daily. do some research on it and test it out, i promise you wont be disappointed!

Does anyone know why I am unable to reply to a particular person?  The "reply to" boxes at the bottom right of each post are gray.  Normally they are green and allow me to reply to a specific comment.

Hi Ive had BV infections about once a month for as long as I can remember. I went to the health store and they gave me Oil of Oregano to use. Plus Raw Probiotics Vaginal Care. Anyone use these? The Oil of Oregano is drops you put in your mouth. Kinda hard to do everyday. Im scared to do the Vitamin C insets.

I wish I knew. I was sick with strep so I was on a antibiotic that caused another BV and now yeast infection. I do however like the Probiotics I think they did help me out til I got strep!

Hi Kris! I have been suffering from BV for 5 years now. I am now 21. And have litterally tried EVERYTHING to cure this- from pills, to inserting garlic internally. Nothing has worked, and it's starting to come an issue in my relationship. For the last three days now, I have been trying the vitimen C insertion. But by the end of the day, I have an even worse discharge. It's not like any one elses ive read on here. Its white, and has the consistancy of wet toilet paper. Will this go away? What should I do? Other than that, the odor has completely gone away. (Much more discharge tho) sad

Maddy sounds like a yeast infection. I get both BV and yeast at the same time. And mine is the same- wet toilet paper like. I usually get pills from my Dr for yeast infections. Having both is no fun.

After reading all this and research on other sites I decided to try the easiest one with the vitamin C .....and wow I can honestly say I smelt like the fish mongers yesterday I inserted 1 C-1500 mg of vitamin C with Rose hips and this morning NO SMELL I am so amazed how fast it works.

    IT WORKS LADIES.

I already had some vitamin C with Rose hips in cubhard from Holland and Barrett time release desolves slower whilst sleeping it's probably the best time to use it .

    So thank you Kris29.

    Hi,

I have just recently gotten the 50 billion ultimate flora but I am wondering if taking one a day is enough? Should I take another pill with it or add something else?

i was wondering if anyone here has thryoid issues along with recurrent bacterial infections?

I have low thyroid and am vitamin D deficient.  I have always had trouble with BV and chronic yeast infections even prior to the thyroid and vitamin deficiency.

Yes, I have hypothyroid as well as problems with my liver in the past. I continuesly have BV + Yeast. I realized at one point that my birth control implant caused it. Now that I got it removed, I get it once every few months versus once a month.

This was so helpful to me.  Just knowing there are other women battling these same issues is very comforting.  I feel like I have some options to try now.  Thank you so much!

    Hi Kris29 -

I like many women on this site, have had bv for 10 years now. I can no longer take it, every time I go to the gyno, its the same old nasty pill or messy annoying cream. I am not sure what to do anymore. With all the feedback on this site, i'm so confused on what to do. Help PLEASE!!!!
