BV CURED!

Posted , 390 users are following.

I was pretty excited to come on this site to share what has cured me because i know how frustrating bv is and i am sure some of you have tried many things.

I had bv for 3 months. I am just now getting over it. I had gone to the doctors twice and have taken metronidazole and clindamycin. both intravaginal gels. Both gave me unwanted side effects and my symptoms came back after a week with both. I have also tried douching with h202 and vinegar for 5 days but it did not cure me while taking acidiphilus tablets and inserting two vaginally. It did not cure me. Little by little the itch would come back.

After a lot of research i was determined to fight this as I have seen many women have it for years and not have any solutions. Here are my findings and I am proud to say I am bv free! I take a vitamin b complex with folic acid 800, vitamin d3 5000iu and acidiphilus daily. do some research on it and test it out, i promise you wont be disappointed!

Ladies who want to use vitamin c as a method of relief for Bv: if you are using rosehips it will cause a discharge, cramping, tinge of blood, a chemical burn on your vagina. A lot of you are experiencing these symtpoms as I have as well and tried a regular vitamin c that turns into liquid and will pour out in the morning when you pee. You will still get cramps if you are using it a lot but you will have no discharge burning or irritation.

Now if you do not want to do this. You can go the safer route. You can buy tea tree suppositories online and store in the fridge. These will dissolve and sooth symptoms immediately and kill the bacteria while bringing your ph down. I personally have better results with tea tree everyone is different. There will be no cramping no irritation no discharge of any kind. So ladies I do suggest if you are inserting be aware of what rosehips does and what tea tree does.

I hope it's ok to post on this thread. I have been treated by traditional dr for over 4 months and all the prescriptions have done nothing. I've gotten some great information here.....thanks kris29 for answering private message.....Now I am wondering if I have been misdiagnosed by doctor and this condition is really something that ca appear to be BV. Cytolytic Vaginosis or Lactobacillosis. It occurs when there is too much bacteria and the vajayjay secretes something like peroxide and burns the tissue, which causes swollen vulva and lots of discharge with no odor. I am wondering about this I do not have any odor of any kind, but my dr said I looked like my vajayjay has been torched and tons of yellow green mucus discharge. Does BV always have odor? I have not had any st all.

I need to clarify my post. It's when there is too much good bacteria. Pardon misspellings.

Have you ever tested the PH of your discharge?

Buy some PH testing strips that go from 1 - 10. You can buy these from health food stores, but they are MUCH cheaper on ebay, only a dollar for a pack of 100.

A healthy vagina has discharge that is around 3.8 - 4.2

If your PH is more than 5, then it's BV.

If it's around 2 or 3, then it could be cytolic vaginitis.

Most likely you have BV but you should probably test your PH to make sure. Better for you to buy your own strips to test at home. I stick a cotton bud up there and pull it out and wipe on the PH paper and see what colour it changes to and match it to the chart.

Doctors know next to nothing about BV or the PH of the vagina. You're better off solving this yourself...

Hey ladies do you're self a favor get the vitamin called calcium magnesium zinc complex on Amazon. You won't be disappointed. I researched this and tried it out. Somehow the ingredients in this attacks Bv. I can have an itch and take this and it's gone lol I take it every day and helps a lot. Try it out !

So you take this every day? Orally or vaginally? I have been taking that exact supplement for a few weeks AND been inserting it vaginally for about 5 nights...so far no change for me. rolleyes And it's weird, but it gives me thick mucuousy discharge and not a big "orangish" gush of it like most women are saying. Any thoughts? Thanks!
    • Posted

I don't just take this. This alone won't do it but it for sure helps and I take it orally

Most women were discussing the orangish discharge with vitamin c and rosehips not this particular vitamin. What else are you taking

I tried Vit C without rose hips and it caused bleeding.
    • Posted

People were saying that if you get the type without rose hips, it doesn't cause bleeding.

depends if you are using 1000 consecutively it will cause bleeding. If you are using it once or twice a week you'll be fine. I think there's actual suppositiores that are safer because vitamin c really shouldn't be inserted lol hence the symptoms you get afterwards

the medicine kills the good and bad bacteria you will need to replenish the imbalance in your body. you will want to buy ultimate flora vaginal support 50 billion because it has the vaginal strains. i would then buy kefir that has 20 billion probiotics in a cup and there are four servings in a bottle. or if you want to spend the money as this bottle only contains a month supply take two a day. one at night one in morning. you will need to overcrowd the bad bacteria so taking in a lot of probiotics will not only decrease your symptoms to stop it from happening again. you will take this orally.  you should also buy tea tree suppositories on amazon, not tea tree oil. this is important because the oil will cause dryness and irritation and doesnt do the job as well as the suppositories do. your itch and discharge will decrease within the first time of using the suppository. do it over night and you can do it as many days in a row you would like until your symptoms subside. it will do no harm to you. it is very soothing and does leak out over night so wear a liner it does stain clothing. try propping your legs up with pillows under your legs and lay on your back it helps it not leak out so much. the last thing i would suggest is a vitamin called calcium/magnesium/zinc complex on amazon. you take this orally. i have done a lot of research on this vitamin due to a bv pill that was discontinued and these were the ingredients in it. it definitley works and helps keep it away. if you are sexually active use condoms. a mans semen if it is too high in ph and does not agree with your vagina will cause the bv to return. saliva through oral sex will also increase your symptoms i suggest cleaning up a bit afterwards after any type of sex.eating greens high in folic acid help your symptoms but will not cure you. i reccomend staying away from sweets and processed sugars, caffeine alcohol. the sugars increase your vaginal ph and make symptoms much worse. basically you want to keep your ph down to get rid of symptoms and also drink a lot of water.  i hope this helps you. i personally take three vitamins day and occasionally drink kefir and i do not have any issues with bv. i eat what i want i drink alcohol and coffee without a problem because my system is being maintained with the vitamins. i cant say it will ever disappear i did try sex without a condom and it did come back but i got rid of it in a day with the tea tree so good luck to you i know this is so annoying but know it can be maintained and not come back you just have to know what to do to get rid of it.

when i started this forum the vitamins of the vitamin d and b complex and acidiphilus was more of a trial. it did help me it did decrease symptoms but it always came back. after much more research and having to deal with it for so long. i suggest ignoring spending the money on those vitamins and simply get the ones i suggested to you now. i do not suggest vitamin c. it is not safe causes bleeding and cramping and doesnt do as good of a job as the tea tree. in the end it is up to you with what you want to do. good luck.

The tea tree for me didn't work at all!!!! The vitamin c did actually along with the ultimate flora 25 billion 10
    • Posted

a lot of bad symptoms with vitamin c with hardcore use of 1000mg a day so i wouldnt recommend it although it does help. the tea tree is safer. did you take the suppositories by tea tree therapy or by phytolab or the oil itself?
    • Posted

Suppositories and just 1 was extremely over powering.
    • Posted

I would use vitamin c for 2 nights then a medicated douche after and I'm fine,
    • Posted

yikes were you already raw or irritated because thats only thing i can think of that would be overpowering. otherwise it is very soothing
    • Posted

where did you purchse the kefir probiotics? on amazon too?
    • Posted

No where near raw!! The essence of tea tree is very strong. My issue is the odor that occurs after sex which is usually after 3 nights of sex so I used the tea tree and I smelled the tea tree oil every time I walked which isn't a problem but it caused a discharge that I didn't have before. I mean to each his own and I've found what works for me. True I'd rather smell tea tree vs bv odor but it was a bit much for me
    • Posted

ah i see the smell was too much for you. yea everyone is different i have never experienced discharge from it it gets rid of my bv discharge and the tea tree smell is gone in a day. at least you got rid of it!
    • Posted

It took like 2 days for the smell to rid. I bought them from Amazon

I started drinking Kefir after someone mentioned it. I did not know they made a plain one as I can only find flavored Kefir. The prob is its loaded with sugar but I still drink to get what I need out of it. Now im wondering if the sugar is messing with me causing my infections to be worse?. Im going to try to find non flavored Kefir thanks for mentioning it!
