BV CURED!

I was pretty excited to come on this site to share what has cured me because i know how frustrating bv is and i am sure some of you have tried many things.
I had bv for 3 months. I am just now getting over it. I had gone to the doctors twice and have taken metronidazole and clindamycin. both intravaginal gels. Both gave me unwanted side effects and my symptoms came back after a week with both. I have also tried douching with h202 and vinegar for 5 days but it did not cure me while taking acidiphilus tablets and inserting two vaginally. It did not cure me. Little by little the itch would come back.
After a lot of research i was determined to fight this as I have seen many women have it for years and not have any solutions. Here are my findings and I am proud to say I am bv free! I take a vitamin b complex with folic acid 800, vitamin d3 5000iu and acidiphilus daily. do some research on it and test it out, i promise you wont be disappointed!

I have been suffering from this non stop for over a year. I never had this issue until I started dating my fiancé. The meds that the doctor give me does not fully cure it. It always comes back within weeks. I just started taking a probiotics for vaginal PH 50 billion as recommended by my doctor. But it still came back. Probably needs time to fully get into my system. But can you please tell me which types of vitamin c you recommend rose hip etc... That will dissolve vaginally since there are different typesof capsules on the market. I am to the point of wanting to end my relationship due to the constant embarrassment since he claims he's never dealt with a woman that suffers from this issue and Recurring odor. Please help!!!!!!

use oregano oil topically instead of tea tree oil. It supposedly only kills the bad bacteria and also it is considered safe for internal use (unlike tea tree). I use a diluted solution (in an oil) whenever I feel something and it kills it. It is of upmost importance that it is diluted in oil. I also take it orally three times a day for its antibacterial and antifungal properties.
I tried the vitamin C last night and it was extremely painful. I will shop for another brand that doesn't contain additives. Candida eats sugar, by the way, so do not put anything in your vagina that contains sugar or you might also end up with a yeast infeciton.
The suppository that has worked for me (killed it overnight) is basically a suppository of lactic acid. Lactic acid is the by product of the good bacterior in the vagina and its release is what keeps the bad bacteria in check! So if you don't have enough good bacteria there is not enough lactic acid and the vagina isn't acidic enough and this lets the bacteria overgrow. Find a similar brand and try it if the vitamin C thing doesn't work for you.
I removed dairy, alcohol and coffee from my diet, as well as spending a fair bit of time to better understand the nutritional intollerences I already have. If you do not process a sugar like fructose properly it is passed into the large intestine where it ferments and the bad bacteria feed on it. This causes yeast infections and types of bacteria infections. Fructose malabsoroption often exists in people without symptoms. I highly reccomend that people who want to cure BV consider their intestinal conditions beyond adding flora (which is great). Cutting out alcohol and dairy in particular greatly reduced the number of infections I got.
I also took vitamin d and folic acid as suggusted here. I was definitely low on vitamin d.
The last thing I want to mention: after drinking alcohol on my birthday this week I had a BV outbrake worse than any I have had in a year. It was so severe that I could not ride my bike or even walk properly.
I used another italian brand that my boyfriend's mum (who is a doctor) told me to use as a wash on the ouside because it kills infections and lowers the PH. I douched with it instead. I have never douched before but this was an emergency. The active ingredient is benzidamina cloridrato which I guess means benzidamine chloride. I felt immediate releif.
I followed this with a zinc oxide cream that the doctor also suggested.
These two and some pain killers have done a marvelous job and halting the exteme itching and pain that I was experiencing. This is only half the job done, of course, and I need to insert some lactobacillus acidopholis as well tonight.

BV is caused by a ph imbalance. The normal pH of the vagina is 4.5 or less. Any thing higher can cause a problem:
Menstruation: Blood has a pH of 7.4, so during your period, vaginal pH becomes elevated. Tampons: Since they retain the fluids that cause pH to increase. Intercourse: The pH of semen is 7.1 to 8. Douching and cleansers: Any vaginal infusion of water or other fluids can affect vaginal pH. The pH of water is 7, and fragrances and perfumes can also irritate the vagina. Menopause or pregnancy: These are times where hormones fluctuate, which is associated with elevated pH.
You have to find your triggers and try to avoid or lessen you exposure. For many the meds dr.s give you only work while you are on them and kill both the good and bad bacteria. You'll notice the difference the very next day after inserting 1 capsule (I make my own) My triggers are semen, my cycle and perfumes/soaps. I use 1 at the begining of my cycle and 1 at the end. If my husband finishes in my I wash with Vagisils PH Balance wash and insert at least once during a 2 week period.
Boric acid is an extremely effective natural cure for BV & yeast infections. Some view boric acid as a particularly concentrated treatment, the good news is that boric acid is typically a permanent treatment for bacterial vaginosis. I have been bv free for quite some time hope this helps

I tried the boric acid. It has helped but it didn't cure the infection. It definitely lowered my PH though, I will use it after my periods and after sex with a new person.
Oil of oregeno diluted in olive oil or argan oil continues to be the best treatment for me.
