BV CURED!

I was pretty excited to come on this site to share what has cured me because i know how frustrating bv is and i am sure some of you have tried many things.

I had bv for 3 months. I am just now getting over it. I had gone to the doctors twice and have taken metronidazole and clindamycin. both intravaginal gels. Both gave me unwanted side effects and my symptoms came back after a week with both. I have also tried douching with h202 and vinegar for 5 days but it did not cure me while taking acidiphilus tablets and inserting two vaginally. It did not cure me. Little by little the itch would come back.

After a lot of research i was determined to fight this as I have seen many women have it for years and not have any solutions. Here are my findings and I am proud to say I am bv free! I take a vitamin b complex with folic acid 800, vitamin d3 5000iu and acidiphilus daily. do some research on it and test it out, i promise you wont be disappointed!

Hello, I have a BV infection for almost a week now. I know a lot of you on this have been struggling with it for way longer but, my sisters wedding is next week and I don't want to be uncomfortable and in pain for that. I was wondering what else I could do besides taking the medication and the cream given to me by my doctor. Also would you recommend going to the gym or should I take it easy until it heels up? Thank you very much!!

Hey like everyone I have been suffering with bv. It's been six months four doctors lots of medication and no solutions. Feel like I'm on the verge of depression, it has literally consumed my life. I have a constant burning painful sensation and as of late minimal discharge. Anyone with these symptoms please offer a remedy that worked for them. Would be very grateful. Thanks

I have a question about boric acid. I tried vitamin C inserted directly into the vagina, as many others did, It made me bleed. From all I've read, it seems that happens more often with women who have had hysterectomy's ... maybe not having a cervix causes that effect, I don't know. I am wondering if the boric acid would do the same. Has anyone had any bleeding issues when they used boric acid?

I've had BV off and on through the years, but one dose of Flagyl would take care of it. Not so, this time and it's been prevalent for several months. I've taken Flyagyl and other antibiotics and I've been taking massive doses of RePhresh Pro B and acidophilous, Vitamin D3, Malic acid, Folic Acid, and just today started Olive Leaf Extract. I've also used the PH suppositories and peroxide douches. Something or all has helped and it is much better, but it is still lingering.

      Brenda

the other day I inserted 2 Vitamin Cs into my vagina and it causes bleeding and irritation for me. it felt like the ascorbic acid was making my vagina lips puffy. Then the next day the slight bleeding started.

But I used boric acid capsules for a month straight, sometimes even 2 inserted per day, and it didn't make me bleed at all.

Unfortuntely, the boric acid didn't seem to work for me, but it didn't cause bleeding either. *shrug*

Hi Kris, I'm 17 and I've been seeing the same boy for around 9 month but we've only been having sex for the past 6 months. Just before we were about to have sex a few week ago, there was definitely an obvious smell and I was SO mortified but carried on regardless. Since then, I googled my symptoms and it appears to be BV. I've started wearing only 100% cotton underwear to try and reduce the smell but it doesn't help how my school uniform requires me to wear tights everyday. I'm definitely going to pop into tesco and purchase the slow release vitamin C tablets and try insert them to overcome this smell which is my main concern. Other than that, I'm going to try with the natural yogurts that supposedly help down there! I'll let you know how I get on x

Hi hun im the same age as yourself and suffered the same problem for a couple months. id just like to recommend that you see a doctor or even do what i did and get an appointment at the sexual health clinic. It took a while but finally they tested me for candida otherwise known as bv and my results came back positive. They gave me a weeks course of antibiotics and it is a 50/50 chance of them working but they did work for me and i have now been completely clear of BV for months. Im back to do regular things such as having sex and letting boys finish in me, i use soap as normal and nothing has triggered it to come back. Completely clear. So although it may not work for you definitely go and see what the doctors say as it might! x

Hello ladies, I am happy to say that I have been BV free for weeks. I started suffering for BV about 4 months ago. I went to my gyno and was prescribed antibiotics but I noticed that unfortunately it came right back. I tried everything from tea tree oil to douching. All made it go away only temporarily. I began to become embarrassed because of the odor, constant discharge, and wetness. I stopped having sex with my boyfriend because I had become terrified that he would be horrified about what was going on down there. So I'm here to say that I found something that truly works!

What worked for me was 250 my vitamin C with rose hips. You can get it at your local Walgreens or CVS for 5 bucks! I inserted one every night vaginally for 5 days. If you are sexually active DO NOT have sex during these five days. It will start the process over ( I know from experience). But for those five days, drink tons of water and try to lay off the sweets and salts. I put a panty liner in at night because the vitamin causes a little discharge. You will notice immediately that the smell is gone the next morning but keep strong with the process! After the 5 days the BV hasn't came back sense! I insert one after I have sex with my boyfriend and right after my cycle ends. This part is important because the BV can come back after sex and after your cycle. I cannot describe how relieving it is to know that I am back to normal down there. Thank god for vitamin c rose hips and h20! I hope this helps! Good luck, I promise you won't be disappointed!

I'm so comforted to know I'm not alone in this. It wasn't until I turned 31 I been noticing the discharge is off and the smell of it was not right. I never had this issue in my 20's and never even heard of it. It's not as severe as I been reading. I started taking probiotic vitamins everyday. Also after my menstrusl cycle is done I soak a light tampon in plain Greek yogurt and sleep with it over night. It seems to keep it at bay but not a 100% gone. I have been reading about the insertion of the vitamin c I'm willing to try but scared at the same time putting something up there. If anyone else supports the vitamin c theory let me know.
