BV CURED!

Posted , 390 users are following.

I was pretty excited to come on this site to share what has cured me because i know how frustrating bv is and i am sure some of you have tried many things.

I had bv for 3 months. I am just now getting over it. I had gone to the doctors twice and have taken metronidazole and clindamycin. both intravaginal gels. Both gave me unwanted side effects and my symptoms came back after a week with both. I have also tried douching with h202 and vinegar for 5 days but it did not cure me while taking acidiphilus tablets and inserting two vaginally. It did not cure me. Little by little the itch would come back.

After a lot of research i was determined to fight this as I have seen many women have it for years and not have any solutions. Here are my findings and I am proud to say I am bv free! I take a vitamin b complex with folic acid 800, vitamin d3 5000iu and acidiphilus daily. do some research on it and test it out, i promise you wont be disappointed!

Wat are the side effects of inserting vitamine c into the vagina? Worse case scenario?
    • Posted

Vaginal chemical burn and vitamin c OD leading to death. The worst case scenario is ALWAYS death.

I have suffered from bv occasionally after sex due to bacteria from my butt somehow reaching my vjj. I have found tea tree suppositories and vitaminc does work well. Tea tree smells wonderful btw. Drs will tell you to refrain from home remedies because curing this will cause them to lose money. Ladies listen to your body, not prescriptians.

Hello I have suffered with bv for many years now and have tried many remedies but this is the first te I heard of vitamin c, so I tried it last night I used vitamin c 1000 and the smell was gone right away but I did notice this morning I woke up with what seems to be a yeast infection.. is that a normal side affect?

I must say Ladies... I was really worried about using the vitaminC

so my mother told me to try probiotics... 30billion and omg... the scent is gone... the watery discharge... and honestly I'm BV free... after sex no smell no thing... I take one once a day... and my boyfriend still finishes in me... after sex I just use baby wipes or have a quick rice off and I'm completely free of that god aweful smell

So, ive been reading these posts for the past few months but never actually posted myself. Ive been suffering with thrush and BV since I was 14. Im now 24 and quite frankly sick to death of it! My symptoms of thrush are usually just the intense itching. It does tend to go away with over the counter treatments. On the other hand, BV doesnt. For at least the past year I have had it permanently with only temporary relief (a few days, maybe a week at the most). My symptoms are usually thin, watery discharge and a fishy smell. (Sorry its gross and embarrassing but it may help a few other ladies as my post goes on) I have tried the anti biotics, the anti biotic gel (metrodinazole whatever you call it) clears the symptoms up every time but always comes back a few days after i stop taking it. I have also tried balance activ (the gel you buy over the counter) again gives me temporary relief. Same for apple cider vinegar baths and yogurt tampons. It is all pretty annoying really, but I think it would be easier to deal with if it wasnt for the smell. I literally shower and within half an hour its back. Its just so horrible to never feel clean. I did everything they reccomend, wiping front to back (I mean who doesnt do that apart from children, really?) Wearing cotton underwear, mild laundry detergent, not using soap. I always use aqueous cream, its the only thing that doesnt irritate me. Washing after intercourse etc etc. It just lingers. I get so paranoid other people can smell it that im constantly watching peoples facial expressions and keeping my distance. Anyhow... ill stop groaning, as I think I may have found a cure. I did some research, found out about the acidophilus and decided to order some capsules from amazon. Now these are the regular capsules, not the vaginal suppositories. I also ordered folic acid. I started taking them twice a day orally, and in all honesty I didnt notice a difference. I then read that you can use them vaginally, but I was scared it wouldnt dissolve. But, at this point I was desperate. So far I am on day 5 of inserting half a capsule of acidophilus. And ladies, there is no smell, no discharge, nothing. I have also been taking 1 capsule orally and continuing with 1 folic acid tablet. I think by day 3 my symptoms were gone, but today I got paranoid and wanted to just be sure. Ive had a pretty busy day today and I havent even caught a wiff of it. This is the cleanest I have felt in years. I have also stopped wearing under wear completely so Im wondering if thats making a difference too. Tomorrow Im going to be brave and not use insert anything and see how it goes. I just hope this isnt a temp fix like the rest.

Omg you have described me. All of theses things are me. My OBGYN is awesome I have wonderful relationship with her but I can't get rid of this constant BV AND YEAST. I'm so over it. I asked her if I could just buy a new vagina lol. I'm so done! I'm so discouraged.

You have to find your triggers and try to avoid or lessen you exposure.

I would love a new vagina! Lol. Well, I wasnt so brave after all and ive continued to use the acidophilus. Im making tonight my last capsule inserted vaginally. I dont wanna tempt fate, but I havent smellt anything these past 6 days and zero discharge. Its been pretty hot and sweaty here too so I think its working well. Ill continue to take the acidophilus orally and folic acid once a day. Ill let you know how it goes from there. My next plan if this doesnt work is to change my diet. Im really not keen on the boric acid idea, it just sounds so harsh.

Boric acid is no harsher than the meds doctors give you.  Boric acid is what was used back in the day.  It works.  I was like you very scared.....wish I had done it along time ago.  If you get a chance check out amazon and the reviews there are a ton of female raving about it.

Thanks for your repy. I've been on the site several times but I have never said anything. I was joking with my doctor about getting me a new vagina. I wish could just order a new one.i have other issues as well. The main one is diabetes. I've seen an infectious disease doctor as well. The medication he gave me didn't work either and almost every time I have sex a few days later here comes the BV. I need to try your idea or briget's are someone's. It's so embarrassing. One of my coworkers who is way younger then me wanted to discuss something that was private. It would be my luck it was about BV AND YEAST. I was so happy to tell her she is not alone. All I know is I need help. I don't feel normal.

Thank you Bridget. I really do feel disgusted. Boric acid does seem harsh in the since that I usually think of what people do with it, however I'm so willing to try anything. Ooh how that work if you are having oral sex when obviously you aren't supposed to ingest it. How long would you treat yourself before the coast is clear? Please give me

As much info as you can and how to go about getting it. Are you BV free and yeast free?

Yep ive read online that rwccurring BV and thrush are a symptom of diabetes. I just had a blood test to see if I have a thyroid problem or not as im always thirsty. I feel your pain! Same here, mine started off aa it would flare up a day or two after sex, but then it was pretty much there all the time even if only mild. Well if you decide to try the acidophilus method, just private message me and ill give you details of the exact ones I have.

I probably will try it but im gonna make it my last option. Im gonna hang in there with the acidophilus for now. So are you completely BV free now?

Ok so quick update for you all, I used the capsule last night, day 7. I did notice when I got home from work that I could smell it very faintly again. But I have now woken up this morning and the smell is back. Im really confused. I dont know whether maybe I over did it with the capsules, or its because it was really hot yesterday. I work twelve and a half hour shifts and it was really sweaty yesterday so im wondering if the heat just pushed it over the edge? Its not ideal to be cooped up in skinny jeans for that long, but I did hope that wearing no under wear would make a difference. I have a night shift tonight, so im just hoping it goes away before I leave. Ive used another capsule. :-(

Well I insert at night and in the morning or some time during the night you have a slightly watery discharge (I think its from the veggy capsule and boric acid)  Oral sex is fine the following evening.  3 days and you are usually good. You will notice a difference the next day.  I dont think boric acid is any more harsh than these meds they give us that alot of times dont work.  Boric acid is at least natural and what was used before all of this new stuff. Its much cheaper and you can get everything on amazon.

I also take 'Pearls YB' Probotics every other day. Acreobating all over the place with confidence again. Buy 1, u willl know what I mean. This is not news given for market purposes. This is a lady that was suffering for ages.rolleyes
