BV CURED!

I was pretty excited to come on this site to share what has cured me because i know how frustrating bv is and i am sure some of you have tried many things.

I had bv for 3 months. I am just now getting over it. I had gone to the doctors twice and have taken metronidazole and clindamycin. both intravaginal gels. Both gave me unwanted side effects and my symptoms came back after a week with both. I have also tried douching with h202 and vinegar for 5 days but it did not cure me while taking acidiphilus tablets and inserting two vaginally. It did not cure me. Little by little the itch would come back.

After a lot of research i was determined to fight this as I have seen many women have it for years and not have any solutions. Here are my findings and I am proud to say I am bv free! I take a vitamin b complex with folic acid 800, vitamin d3 5000iu and acidiphilus daily. do some research on it and test it out, i promise you wont be disappointed!

I also struggled with BV--mine for 1 year.  Same issues with several doctors only prescribing metronidazole and clindamycin--both would only give me recurring UTI's and my doctors would scratch their heads each time I came back in, saying "well it should have cleared up by now." I finally went to Dr. Susan Morrison (OBGYN) in Santa Monica, CA and she prescribed Acidophillus-Lactobacillus vaginal cream and 600 MG of Boric Acid, that I alternated for 5 days a week for about a month and a half, and I am happy to say that after a month of no treatment I am completely cured.  No more BV symptoms. Thought I'd add that this treatment also worked for me, becuase I too know what a pain in the ass BV can be to cure.  Find a doctor who is with the times and knows about hollistic approaches to medicine.

      Unfortunately as soon as I

let my guard down and forgot to use the acidolphilus and take the vitamins, etc the BV problem returned. At least now I seem to be able to control the worst of the symptoms by returning to the hydrogen peroxide/H2O soaked tampon and then acidolphilus, etc.

Hydrogen peroxide Soaked tampon??? Oh My.  How much acidolphilus? there r so many on the market. I'm on GNC now looking. I have to check with my doctor first on all of this. I am a diabetic/high cholesterol & there are warnings on vitamin C & the acidolphilus.

PLEASE let me know how this worls for you. I have been suffering for BV on and off for the last year. NEVER had this problem until I got my IUD (Mirena). Reading up on the Mirena after this started, this seems to be a common issue. I got the IUD for my heavy cycles and am seriously considerinng removing it. My husband is awesome and understands nor is bothered by my issues down there. He knows it is not from lack of me being clean or cheating, that it is related to the IUD. I AM SO OVER THIS!!!!!!!!! I NEED a resoultion like yesterday! I hope this has worked for you. I am very weary of sticking things up there. I started taking a probiotic today and plan to go get the Vit C today as well.

Try a home remedy. It is thought that L. acidophilus or Lactobacillus probiotic tablets may help get rid of BV. The probiotic tablets contain a lactic acid-producing bacteria that balances out bacteria levels in the vagina.

Though these tablets are usually for oral consumption, they can also be used as vaginal suppositories to balance out bacteria levels in the vagina.

Insert one probiotic pill vaginally directly before going to sleep at night. Do not use more than one per night to avoid any possible irritation. The foul odor should disappear after a few dosages. Repeat for 6-12 nights until the infection goes away. If the infection does not go away or gets worse after a few days, see a doctor. [1]

I found ^^^^ on another site, hass anyone tried this??????

Hey can you tell me if you're still taking the vitamin b with folic acid, vitamin d and acidophilus OR if you're doing the VH BV 60 count capsules with the 25-50 billion Ultima flora probiotics! And if you're doing either method, were you able to stop after a while and your bv was gone or is it still a daily regimen?

Im just in my early 20s and I've been suffering BV for a year and some months now, it's really frustrating and unpleasant. I've been to several hospitals even private and government hospitals visited many gynecologist and I'm tired of doing this because all give the same result so now I've decide to ask about the vitamin C maybe it will work for me. Can someone explain to me how I can deceive the vitamins to a pharmacist so that I can get it and see how it goes with me. I hope to recover after this.
