BV CURED!

Posted , 390 users are following.

I was pretty excited to come on this site to share what has cured me because i know how frustrating bv is and i am sure some of you have tried many things.

I had bv for 3 months. I am just now getting over it. I had gone to the doctors twice and have taken metronidazole and clindamycin. both intravaginal gels. Both gave me unwanted side effects and my symptoms came back after a week with both. I have also tried douching with h202 and vinegar for 5 days but it did not cure me while taking acidiphilus tablets and inserting two vaginally. It did not cure me. Little by little the itch would come back.

After a lot of research i was determined to fight this as I have seen many women have it for years and not have any solutions. Here are my findings and I am proud to say I am bv free! I take a vitamin b complex with folic acid 800, vitamin d3 5000iu and acidiphilus daily. do some research on it and test it out, i promise you wont be disappointed!

How much of this is true? I found out that my husband cheated on me and thinking back my fishy odor began around the time he cheated. I got myself checked for std and was clear. After researching on the web, i found out that a guy who have multiple sex partners will cause an imbalance of pH between women. I am still trying to find more info about it. I was thinking out of all the years we've been together (15 yrs), why am I smelling now? Im so confused...

I don't know about this as I am not a physician. Do u have an std? I didnt and still had BV. I think agevhas more to do with it, i know as i got well into menopause that is when my issues began, a few of my friends as well. Just food for thought.

I've had BV for 4-6 weeks. I'm American. I have no insurance and even at the clinic, it's just under $300 to be screened and treated for BV. I'm a single mom and work as a server. To say I don't have $300 is an understatement. I used an at home test to test for proper pH. It was off so I know bad bacteria is present. The itching, burning, discharge and odor are driving me crazy. I found your thread on line and used some other suggestions as well. I've been eating a cup of Greek yogurt daily. Yesterday, I went to the store and got women's probiotic, fenugreek caps, vitamins c and d, ACV, and tea tree oil. I immediately took 1 probiotic, 1 vitamin c and 1 d, and 2 fenugreek caps orally. Last night I added 1 c ACV and 6 drops of tea tree oil to a bath and soaked for 30 mins. After the bath I inserted 1 probiotic, 1 vit c, and 1 vit d vaginally before going to bed. Already this morning, I have noticed no odor or itching. I'm going to continue this regimen for 7 days and then remain on the oral supplements to maintain a healthy ph. I hope this works since I truly can't afford any other options.

    Thank you for posting Kris!

I had a question about the vitamin b complex that you take. does the b complex include folic acid 800 mg or did you take folic acid separately with a vitamin b complex? Cause I am very eager to try your vitamin remedie I'm so done with having this issue!

I am completely depressed & done with having bv. Every time I go to my OB/GYN they just give me Metro pills & Gel. Which does not work. After I finish the dose & take the medication for the yeast infection I catch afterwards every time, the bv is back. It's that chronic. It's like I took the antibiotics for no reason. EVERYTHING YOU KNOW ABOUT TO CURE BV, I TRIED IT. Only thing I haven't tried is vitamin b complex with folic acid 800, vitamin d3 5000iu and acidiphilus. I don't know how these are suppose to be used. Do I take all of the orally? Once a day? First thing in the morning ? Please help. I am at my breaking point already. So what I do to avoid smelling the odor is wear a tampon throughout the day. I honestly have already have up on myself.. ONE LAST TRY.

I take vit c w/rosehips and acidophilus orally. I take the refrigerated ones not very expensive at all or the vit c. I actually take two of the acidophilus everyday. Some ppl have inserted the vit c w/rosehips but I have just done it orally. The first couple days I inserted the acidophilus in my vagina and now just orally. I don't take them at a certain time just when ever I remember. I'm a single mom of 4 its hard to keep myself straight all the time lol

Hi nene lovely, I understand. I take all of the above vitamins orally. I also insert Vit c vaginal using applicator from my old metrodinolzone Rx. It's been day 3 1/2 for me now. No smell, light discharge of clear odorless- which I welcome w a panty liner. When I wake in an the panty liner is a light shade of yellow because of the Vit c insert and shedding cells- again zero smell!!! I tried everything in the world!! No one besides a health store has much natural supplements than me and none of them offered relief or cure or any difference as fast as this combo!!! None! I'm thankful for finding this blog- thanks for this tip. When I say I've tried everything... Those days are over!

So far so good. I haven't had sex in a while tho. I figured I would do it like this for a while before I try triggering it

Do I buy B complex with folic acid already mixed or buy b complex separate from the folic acid ? Every time I look up b complex with folic acid, it shows it mixed with vitamin C also

I didn't use B complex- I used b6. Not sure if complex formula that u have is high enough in mg. I can say that my BV is gone! Never smelled better smile I had a super intense workout yesterday and I kept checking down there...! I have to admit my aroma reminds me of being a young girl before I even got my first period. I have my annual appt tomorrow and I can't wait to see the doctor! I've been waiting for appt for 3 weeks that's why I started this treatment and I'm so so so glad I found this post! My life has changed completely!!! I want to tell every woman!! smile

OK so you take a B6 & insert vit. C pill everyday ? I've read that the vitamin c pill burns sometimes..

Never burned! Insert Vit c w Rosehip (white powder pill). I also take same Vit c orally in am as well as b6, folic and Vit D. Mostly vit d because of having an iud. Again, I never experienced burning, I think that lady didn't insert far enough. I use my suppository stick from and old metrodinolzone gel Rx. I don't think I could insert w out it that far up.

Uh, no I dont think that is the reason some experience burn from Vit C. I am not of child rearing age. My Dr advised that vaginal wall is thinner and more sensitive.

Hello dear, I feel your pain. Guess what! I was doing the same thing. I had to wear a tampon to mask this horrid smell that became all too familiar...

I don't want to scare you, but this past January, it got to the point that even with a tampon I was still not able to mask the odor!! You could imagine the horror. I've been struggling with quick fixes in order for me to last for an entire work day. Now I use tea trea oil mixed with ALOT of water, bc its very potent. I do this morning and night. I'm going to try one more round of antibiotics but this time with biofilm and we will see what hapoens. Bless you, stay well.🌷
