BV for 4 years

been suffering with this for 4 years plus pid from it with no solution in sight ..iv had metronidiazole 2g dose every month for the last 5 months plus done 14 days of metronidiazole plus doxycycline an cipro and as soon as my period ends every month stinky discharge is back smells like fish most the time or prawn cocktail chrisps hint of onion mixed in aswel ...its aweful and i wouldt wish this on anyone i have changed from thongs to cotton pants iv changed to a mild soap instead of the usual nice bath stuff iv also tried using just water iv been taking probiotics for the last month as a last resort im starting to think its never going to be normal again i have no itchin with mine i did at the start around the vag opening but that seems to have gone just discharge and still a bit of lingering pid at a loss got another doctors appointment tomorrow to see if they can give me some kind of alternative tablet or gel

    right i thought id just give a quick update ...iv just inserted the cream roughly half an hour ago so far no burning or anything on toward going on down there by way of burning or stinging its difficult to get it into your fanny wiout making a mess but got the majority up there haha will update in a couple of days as to how its going

      I'm sure I've had the same cream it's an antibiotic I stupidly carried on using my bath water to shave my legs and the body wash in the bath water started it off again 72 hours later.

      I dont use nothing now but it's such a mess around constantly changing routine things like washing under wear separate and no soap in the water so then you've to take a shower which is time consuming.

      keep updated and I'll keep trying my pesserys I'm waiting for black seed oil to be delivered

    just heard about clindamycin, how were your results on using it? if you cleared it have you been taking anything else like probiotics to prevent it from coming back?

      hi i got given 7 nights of cream to insert and i noticed results after the first night using it no smell no discharge nothing it totally went so i carried on with the 6 other doses havnt had bv for a year now touch wood ...i did take some probiotics for vaginal flora for around 2 weeks but i stopped taking them the cream did the trick

      i had bv 4 years prior to the cream nothing else worked i tried metronidiazole 4 times plus took it once a month for 6 months i used pessaries from pharmacy and also used a gel they just made it worse in my opinion
