BV FREE

Posted , 17 users are following.

Ive previously recommended two proven probiotic strains in killing the bv biofilm, L.reuteri rc-14, and L rhamnosus gr-1. and ive now been bv free for 4 months. I had it for two years, and tried many things, but realized that if i didnt kill the biofilm it would just keep coming back. It didnt take long for the symptoms to go away with just a pill a day. I also only use warm water to wash the outside of my vagina, no scebted soaps, detergents, pads or tampons. Basically you cant use scented anything if you have problems with bv. Feel free to message me with questions, or if you need some advice.

well i dont think thicker or drier discharge is a bad thing. As long as it isnt smelly, or clumpy. Bv causes thin discharge, so in my opnion it making it thicker isnt bad

im getting nervous... i dont know if i should see a doctor again for this.... i hope it will work but my discharge is getting thicker instead of something else

i guess i need to stop taking the probiotic pill she recommended coz it makes my discharge thicker like when you have a dry mucus

yup, too bad... it lools like it turns into yeast infection... Because it killed the other bacteria om my end... need the help of OBgyne again... we need to brave everyday for this

i hate it bad and i havent had a yeast infection in a decade! i stopped taking the antibiotic pills! this feels like my uterus is no more good well the vagina i can say

What killed the bacteria? Had you recently taken antibiotics for the bv? That almost always causes a yeast infection. It would be pretty odd for prbiotic pills to cause this

    • Posted

yes there were vaginal suppositories that my ob gyne prescribed.... and i guess it out balance it.... should i stop taking the probiotic?

    • Posted

for the smell... im not quiet sure now... coz the smell of the pill mixed with it... sometimes it doesnt have that smell sometimes it has that bad smell (im talking about these past days while taking the probiotic)

I dont see any reason to stop taking the probiotic. The antibiotic suppositories your dr gave you caused a yeast infection, not the probiotic.

i wouldnt mix the probiotic with the vaginal suppository. Just take the probiotic orally
