BV SERIOUSLY GETTING ME DOWN!!

Posted , 21 users are following.

Hi everyone. Ive just joined this site today in the hope that I can get advice from someone in the same situation.

I am CONSTANTLY getting BV, it is driving me mad. I am so itchy and so sore down below all of the time and i'm tired of using anti-biotics as they dont seem to cure it all. The one good thing for me is that I dont have any odour attached to my BV, which is apparantly odd the doctor said as most BV is diagnosed because of its strong odour.

I do have loads of discharge all the time though and the itching is driving me stir crazy!!!!!!

I am going to read through all of the previos posts and hopefully get some good tips from people but just wondered if anyone was around to talk now. I feel so miserable, its really getting me down.

Im 34 by the way and ive suffered this for most of my adult life, but it seems to have gotten a lot worse in the last few years.

Thanks in advance everyone

i too had this, itchy, pain, discomfort no odour.

    It was CV

    cytolytic vaginosis

also using antibiotics brings on thrush after

my Gyno told me i had CV after a smear, also mild thrush.

i used clindamycin ovules for 3 nights at bedtime, followes by Laurimic ovules for thrush 3 nights at bedtime ..

    repeated 4 weeks later ..

vaginal atrophy also causes discomfort ( vaginal dryness)

my CV gone, but i have dryness and Gyno gave me Ovestin Ovules ( weak estrogen)

did you see a Gyno or a normal Doctor, as Docs dont specialise

I never had any odor either. some peoples symptoms just appear differently. Honestly theres most likely an imbalance in your body that you need to correct in order to keep the BV away.

You might wanna find a doctor or especially a natural practitioner who is willing to test out the imbalances in your body.

You may be vitamin D defficient. that has been proven to have a significant connection to problems down below. good luck!

Greetings. Im 29 and have suffered with 'undiagnosed' bv for a year now. Meds from the doc only worked while i was taking them, and all the symptoms returned shortly after finishing treatment. The only thing that seems to be working more long term is the tap water douche. I dont use any soap or vinegar i just douched with luke warm tap water. I understand that douching isnt the best method many say its the worse, but its been at least 3 days without the burning and itching discomfort. I havent had any foul smell or discharge either.

My issue is that there are 4 bacteria in my urinary tract that cause BV. Until I can clear those bacteria, I'm not doing anything vaginal. You might want to consider having your GYN doing a urine sample for PCR Paneling. A PCR Panel spins down the urine so doctors can see very specific microorganisms that are present

I was having an awful smell and a lot of discharge, I came on here and did research and kind of came up with my own remedy:

I did the vitamin C tablet vaginally for a couple days but every time I would stop the smell would come back, so I bought these suppositories, they also make a BV specific treatment but this one worked wonders for me, I used the suppositories every night before bed until I used the whole package while also taking probiotic, vitamin c, and turmeric vitamins orally. This sounds like a lot but 1. the vitamins are good for you no matter if it actually helps the BV or not and 2. I think the suppositories did most of the curing. I bought another package of the suppositories to have on hand if I feel like I did something that could cause the smell to come back (being it a wet bathing suit, working out without showering, sex, etc). Try it, it got rid of every symptom for me and so far I did not have to use the backups I've been all clear!

I have suffered with BV from my teenage years and I finally have found something that works for me. I recent had my gyn annual exam and my doctor put me on metro gel and also had me take a over the counter probiotic for women's health and that combo worked like a charm! When getting your probiotic you have to make sure that your getting the one that is for balancing your flora. It will balance out your ph levels. Bv is the devil! Hopefully this helps you out.

I swear by this. I suffered for so long with bv AND yeast. Buy a douche and 100% tea tree oil. Pour a little bit of tea tree oil in the douch, and fill the rest with water. Use it, then fill douch half with plain water, and use it. Bam you're done! Do this twice a day and until symotoms are gone. It works! TRUST ME, ITS A MIRACLE OIL! Its good for bacteria and fungus.

PLEASE do this! I suffer with recurring bv and this changed my life! Cures it right up!

I have found that after douching only 2 times on 2 consecutive days with 4 cups of water and 2 tbs of baking soda has cured my “BV”. After doing a lot of research over the last 3 years, I have recently found that there is a condition related to BV known as CV. After reading I have came to the simple conclusion that if you have CV your PH may be too high, BV your PH may be too low. I was very acidic down there supposedly and it made sense, because the smell was horrid. Our Vaginas are literally a system we have to know so much about, know about yourself down there and don’t be afraid to use natural remedies. Still consult with a doctor to make sure no STDs are present to be sure. Methods for BV consists of Apple cider vinegar baths or douches, tea tree oil suppositories, and probiotics (I think probiotics are good for both). CV also may mean you have an overgrowth of Lactobacilli in your vagina, so make sure you use the correct vitamins. I am not a doctor or a physician I am speaking from pure experience. I have tried every single remedy I have mentioned in this statement and the only one that has worked IS the baking soda. I truly do agree with what I have read about CV and I hope I have helped someone.
