does this hurt any side effect and what do they look for am worried to death they think it just prostateus but want to rule out anythink house

    The idea of the procedure, what your mind is telling you, is far worse than the procedure itself.  And it is over very quickly, 5 minutes tops if they want to look around more, but usually less.

      Had that done 2 or 3 weeks ago. They put me out. Was no problem. Lol. No ulcers. But did find out I have barretts

      Most people would say cystoscopy nothing like as bad as endoscopy (stomach job). The pee right after it is fine as they emptied two tubes of anaesthestic up your Willy beforehand. You pee them out. It is the SECOND pee that hurts. Trick is to pee through the pain as once flow is established the pain goes completely. It only hurts just as you start to pee. Don't stop and do it as loads of little mini pees, that is the worst approach. Third pee onwards no pain. You may feel queasy looking at the video feed of your own innards. I did, embarrassingly I half fainted as I got off the trolley. I bet you do much better.

      I experienced none of that after my cystoscopy.  No pain peeing at all, not once.  Would have like the option to see the video though.
