Hi all, I know its a weird ask but i'm desperate to know what exactly your dizziness feels like.  I seem to get a surge of maybe blood maybe hormones to my head and i feel my nose and head will burst open with pressure, it also makes me feel dizzy and i feel i will get a really bad headache.  Today i was driving home from work and i felt i could just drop of to sleep (don't worry i wont cos i'm aware i'm feeling like this).  I have started to mark my dizzy do's on my calender and looking back its quite sad as i don't have a clear week without it.  Can you help by discrbing as much as possible cos i'm now getting worried something else must be going on inside this head of mine.  love to all x

My head feels 'full' as if it's stuffed with cotton wool. I feel , not quite with it and a bit spacey. I feel off balance and often walk into the doorpost. My head is frequently 'tight' and sometimes I have described it as feeling like my head is literally going to burst , the pressure is so much. I've been told that it's to do with tight muscles in my case, caused by anxiety which was triggered by the vertigo (a separate issue)I had 3 yrs ago, but the Dr did admit that changes in menopause can also cause anxiety, so that may also be a contributory factor. I've had ENT tests and blood tests and MRI scan, all normal so have now accepted this to be the case. It is definitely made worse by stress and worrying. Have you had tests done to put your mind at rest? Xx

hi mooma sounds just like me Yes stuffed with cotton wool is a good discription.  When i first started to feel this way but mostly feeling faint i had every test known to man.  MRi, brain scan, balance test, tilt table test, blood tests, ENT, heart test etc etc.  all came back clear. so like you i think i'll just have to live with it but i was releived to know about others, it made me feel not as scared. Its a struggle isnt it to get through the day. x

Yes it is. I'm off to physio tomorrow to get some treatment on the tight muscles and perhaps a bit of acupuncture😱. Hoping it might relieve things a bit. Fingers crossed. It help before when I had it. The physio is so lovely, it's quite relaxing. I'm hoping it might settle down when the hormones settle a bit. I'm doing some meditation. Not going that well at the moment. Will be easier when the kids get back to school, I don't seem to get the time to myself to focus on it. Xx
