Can anyone suggest some natural treatments for this horrible gout?

Been prescribed pills by the gp but i'm wary of taking them because of the side effects, have done though because the pain is so bad but wondered if anyone has ideas on natural treatments that actually work?

Cheers,

George

Hello George, here I am in bed with a not so friendly gout attack. Fortunately, I

keep on hand, Cherry Effect capsules, and Bromelain 500mg. They have worked

well for me on previous attacks. Just waiting for them to get down to my big toe,

usually takes a couple of days. I too am anti prescription drugs,H&B stock the

hebals, that is if you can walk, or a good friend would do.

I have tried cherry juice which im not sure helps other than its really good for. I recently tried apple juice during an attack and believe it stopped the attack. I looked into it a little mor and some studies suggest the acids in apple juice actually break up the crystals in the joint as a flare up is accurring, in my mind it helps as i was in excruciating pain around 5 this morning and actually feel good for the first time in days. Also stay on top of hydration.
