Can blepharitis cause headaches and heaviness of the eyes?

Posted , 10 users are following.

I have had blepharitis for years but it was diagnosed only a few years ago. I suffer not only from redness, itchiness and dryness but also from headaches and constant tiredness of the eyes. My eyes are also swollen. Has anybody got similar symptoms and a possible cure?

I've also suffered from blepharitis for some years. My eyes used to become itchy and inflamed as I became tired in the evening.

I know this sounds stupid but I used to shampoo my hair only every second day thinking I may wash too much natural oils out if I did it every day.

Dont think I'm working for a hair products company but one day I tried my wife's hair conditioner and lo and behold I now go all day with very little problem. If I happen to miss a day it returns.

I did say it sounds stupid but it works for me and it would cost you nothing if

    you try it. Good luck!

Similar conditions. It's getting rid of the red eye that is difficult? Any suggestions please. Steroids take it away but have been told that over use is  not good for the eye.

Blepharitis is giving me great dizziness right now.  It's been like this for a week now.

Also, my eyesights are getting worse like there's no tomorrow.  My eyesights are getting worse like every week or two.  Every week or two, I am experiencing some vision loss.  I'm actually beginning to think maybe I have cancer or something.

I feel irritated entire time and can't concentrate on doing anyting.  Reading something for more than 30 seconds normally feels like a miracle to me.

I don't even know what to do anymore.  I feel like I'm at the end of my life.  I think blepharitis is worse than cancer.  At least with cancer, if you detect it early, it can be cured and treated.

I have scheduled to take brain scan and will be seeing opthamologist, which I still need to wait for 2 weeks.  I've been feeling dizzy and fatigue for the last few weeks. Anyone else had the same problem?  I'm not sure if it's related to blepharitis.  Also, my vision is so fast it's just unbelievable.  There's just no way that I would get vision loss this fast for using computer too much.

Only thing I want to do is sleep as I feel fatigue all the time and when I'm sleeping I don't have to worry about blepharitis.  Do you guys think this is symptom for cancer?
