Thanks for your reply, doctors feel I'm still a bit young at 43 but my Mum and Sister went through it early.. I honestly feel like I'm going round in circles with it, and because they've done 1 blood test and it was fine it's just been left and classed as anxiety.. Do you take anything to try and get through the day.

ive had 3 hormone blood tests and the only thing they have in common is my estrogen is super high which it can be in peri, my periods are less than 20 days apart now and im 40 x

    Hi

Have you had it confirmed your menopausal, I'm just so fed up daily with all these symptoms it drags you down and effects your daily life. I'm at a loss of where to go or what to do now. My bowels are all over the place as well.

your symptoms sounds just like mine its exhausting isnt it. you cannot have a blood test in perimenopause because hormones levels change ever minute, hour, day i think this is why we all feel so ill. menopause is classed as 12 months without a period & i believe you can then have a blood test to confirm? ive had mri, several blood tests, breast lumps checked caused by hormones, ct scan of abdomen, ct125 tests, waiting a colonoscopy because my bowels are all over the place! oh im 46 btw. we all seem to have identical symptoms but doctors say oh its anxiety or ibs x

hey do you get piles or anal fissures too? this is my latest pain! I'm so itchy down their and up there!!! God what else!

occasionally itchy but no not that i know of my worse symptoms at the minute are painful gums (receding quite bad) bad back ache & bloating still, my abdominal scan results came back and found an ovarian cyst so absolutely terrified about that now as need to have an ultrasound x

ah don't worry I had a polyp removed twice and they were benign. Take Vit D it's helped with my gums and super sensitive teeth.

yes abdominal pain made me go to the DR and it went straight down my leg! Then I googled! The DR sent me for a CA125 test whilst on my period! It came up as suspected ovarian cancer!! The gynecologist was amazing and said you shouldn't have sent you for test during your period.

I was tested again and all normal and benign.

I still get my pain but I ignore it as I know its all clear and just perimenopause.

But always get it checked our. I've had so many appointments 😩

i think its just hormone fluctuations i have terrible back and stomach pain and whole body feels inflamed, good that youre getting it checked though it will put your mind at rest (for a while anyway) x

Wow thanks everyone! It makes me feel a bit better that I'm not alone, but it's not good us all suffering. I think i just have to push through it all and just try and get on with life, I'm 43.

Does anyone get any other symptoms apart from the ones on my list?

Surely there has got to be something out there to help us. But i feel everytime i speak to the gp they put it down to anxiety with me still getting my periods.

I have felt all the symptoms you mention. its been going on for 6 years now. many doctor visits and tests that tell me im healthy. I’ll be 46 this november. recently i started feeling a hot achy sensation near my tailbone. it started a week before my period and hasnt left. i feel it more when sitting and tends to go away once i start moving around. i also feel the warm ache in my thighs. has anyone else felt this? if it doesnt leave once my period ends ill go see my doctor.

I'm new here and it feels comforting to know im not alone. thank you ladies.
