Can't get diagnosis.

I am 28 years old with known high blood pressure and cholesterol. I am experiencing warm sensations in my legs and throughout my body. My feet get ice cold and I have these warm sensations in my head and it almost feels like I can feel my blood flowing through me. I get chest pains and fullness periodically and if I press on one of my veins I get that liquid like sensation and tingling throughout. I had an echocardiogram done and my heart looks ok aside from the fact that I have tachycardia. I'm concerned that there is something vascular going on. My doctor said the pulses in my feet were low so I had a Doppler done and that was clean. The constant head pain and fullness is concerning along with the warm sensation. At times it feels like I am tasting blood, and I am short of breath. I feel like my doctor us just going to dismiss this because I'm going but these symptoms never seem to go away.

What medication are  you on?  Statins for cholesterol issues can cause some severe and weird negative effects

I'm not on any medications. My cholesterol and blood pressure are in fact high though.... And the best way to describe these liquid sensations is its like my blood is having issues flowing through my vessels. I have constant pain in the vessels in my head as well.

If you have high blood pressure that could be the explanation.  If you don't want to take medication for it, it is possible to lower it to a healthy level with regular exercise and meditation.

I honestly feel like I have some type of circulation or clotting disorder because my feet were ice cold and my pulse was low in that area.... The high blood pressure and cholesterol can't be helping any

If you believe those issues could be the cause of your problems, why no  medication to correct them?

Have you been referred to a specialist or waiting to see one? GPs are good but a hospital specialist may be the only one to give you the answers that you require. Best of luck.

My cholesterol is 330 and I have bouts of erratic blood pressure. I have poor circulation in my legs and now the symptoms I'm experiencing are worse. It feels like I can feel the blood flowing through my veins, particularly head and legs and I get tingling sensations along with numbness. I see my GP tomorrow I honestly feel like I am going to die. I also get these sharp spasms that always seem to be near the vein and I get that liquid sensation. I feel like I should go to the ER but what are the truly going to do for me. My feet get ice cold and I feel warmness in my legs.

I feel like when I see my GP tomorrow he is going to downplay it because I'm young, but I've had high cholesterol since I was 8. I honestly feel like I need to be admitted for tests, because this is a really bad situation. I feel like I'm not going to wake up

Mguerri, I'm  becoming more confused about your condition with every  post you sent!     Given that high cholesterol has no symptoims that I know of, why on earth would an 8 year old be tested for it?   And why would you not be on medication?

During routine blood work. I've always had high cholesterol. My current symptoms are warmness in my legs, poor circulation, head pain, and this feeling like my blood is trying to flow but is having a hard toms doing so. I also get these spasms in my veins that exacerbate the symptoms. I also have uncontrolled hypertension, and tachycardia. Last night I had this horrible pain in the blood vessel in my head and my body started to tingle

You didn't answer my question about why you aren't on medication if you ohave such high cholesterol

It sounds like you are suffering from anxiety.

That would account for the cold feet and some of the other symptoms.

Try to relax more and stop worrying.

Have a look at some of the websites that give suggestions for dealing with anxiety.

It is not anxiety because when I went to the doctor he said my circulation is in fact poor. Also how would it explain the constant head pain and tingling. Blood work came back with elevated liver enzymes and high triglycerides, and echocardiogram showed tachycardia. It would be different if I was experiencing these symptoms sporadically, instead they are constant even when calm.

Well, that's good, isn't it?  It sounds as if you're finally getting some action which will lead to a diagnosis

He just put me on Lipitor, but my cholesterol has been super high for 18 years

I'm still  very puzzled why you've only just been put on medication when it's beeen, as you say, super high for 18 years.
