Can't sleep

Does anxiety affect your sleeping? I wake up through out the night suddenly and I'll be so scared and my heart will be racing so quickly - it's ever since I had a panic arrack on Friday and now I can't seem to forget about it and it's making me so exhausted and drained with no sleep. My anxiety through the day is even worse when I'm tired and had no sleep - it's like one viscous circle. Feel helpless sad X

And do your best not to feel upset. There are usually people around who will answer you.

of course sally.  i've slept terribly for the past 6 mos thanks to GAD.  what really scares me is i could days with really no sleep and not feel tired.  usually exercise or distraction believe it or not will allow me to sleep for at least 5 hrs straight but it's always segmented.  the frustrating part is...when left alone to think about how you're doing physically...the symptoms really seem to flare; the dizziness off balance feeling...hot-cold facial flushing...muscle aches...back pain...muscle twitching etc...  but i could have a very busy day at work and on the way home look back and realize...i didn't feel dizzy or notice any aches or pains at all.  anxiety is brutal for sure.

      Hi,

It is so so brutal for sure. Had two hours sleep and that's it... it's 4 AM in the U.K. And I'm just so scared to sleep after my panic attack it's untrue.

There exactly All the symptoms I have and have been getting sad the dizziness/light headed is the worst for me it.

I think my anxiety is work related too so it makes me feel ten times worse when I am there but I need money which panics me more about losing my job. Just a viscous circle X
