Caught in the act

When Ally and her friend went shopping in Bury and dumped me in Cafe Revive :donut: :cupcake: :tea: she bought a T shirt with Eeyore on. (I love Eeyore cos I can identify with him!)

Whilst she wasn't looking I decided to try it on cos we are a similar size

Anyway, I must have put on more weight than I thought with the Dosepulin and I got stuck

I dont have much strength in my shoulders at the best of times and I just could not get the :bleep: T shirt off  I had to shout Ally to get it off me! I sat on the bed whilst she got me out of it

It took ages cos she kept having to stop cos she was laughing

How embarrasing

I suppose it could have been worse, what if she had not been in!

I could have been there all afternoon, trussed up, as if I were in a strait jacket.. :erm:

I get stuck like that with sweatshirts because the neck does not stretch well. I get so panicked and claustrophobic with the thing round my head, I come out in a hot flush.

I find that's the worst part of getting dressed ..... pulling a teeshirt or sweatshirt on sad

Particularly as more often than not I get it round the wrong way and have to start all over again

    Serves you right Dale

Just wait until Ally borrows YOUR things like my daughter used to. She always managed to drop something down the front too, which never ever came out

All day long my knickers have been uncomfortable. I wear the 'shorts' style and they have felt more like a thong.

Sadly I have been bracing myself to buy some more in a larger size because my backside is munching up my knickers.

Just realised that I have been walking round all day with my knickers on backwards and the cut away front at the back.

I hate struggling to get my clothes on and off. The worst thing is tops you have to put on over your head/ I try to wear clothes that are baggy and slack ie v-nech tods and jumpers, as bottons is just a no go area. On really bad days I stay in my pj. It's better to use the little energy I have to do small tasks about the house. Getting dressed is unnecessary use of energy when not going out.

When I think before this illness I would be up dressed and full makeup on.

I frequently do all sorts of household jobs in my pyjamas and dressing gown. I feel gloriously slovernly. :pirate:

    Ha Ha

I've done that with my knickers before now :D

I like those VPL ones that M&S make, but I have to buy a l4 or even a l6 because I have to have them really baggy

If I wore a skirt they would fall down

In our local clothes store there is a range of clothing with a big label saying' ME':magic: We have our very own brand. Actually they are rather good :D

I don't own any PJs cos I don't wear anything in bed  Never have .... except a big tee shirt if it is really cold :snowball:

I wear gym pants and sweat tops ..... just get thrown on as and when

We'll all be discussing knickers now

Well if we're talking about knickers  I only wear thongs, i hate big knickers

I have managed to put my thong on sideways and it is really uncomfortable  That's the crotch at the hip

I'm with you Katie, only wear PJs around the house, don't wear anything to bed.

haha you all make me laugh!

years ago i tried to go to bed in the noddy a few times but unfortunately it was usually when id had a few too many :guinness: :redwine: by a rather embarrasing coincidence this was about the time i also went through a stage of sleep walking, especially when tipsy....

lets just say that after i walked in to my parents room stark naked at about 3am, i never, EVER tried it again

i now have a complete phobia of going to bed naked and actually wake up feeling panicky and disorientated if i try, probably because im worried ive gone for a stroll!

Teedie, you have a unique way of saying things that make me laugh out loud. I can just picture it.

I hate thongs, I only ever wore one once, before I was ill and when I was nicely slim and toned. It was to mu husband's works do and I found this gorgeous silver ankle length dress that fitted where it touched and split to the thing in DP sale rail for a tenner and it was MY SIZE. It fitted like a dream, I was so chuffed. So I bought a thong so the line wasn't spoiled.

Honestly it rubbed and chafed all evening till I felt like I had nappy rash so I went into the ladies and removed it and spent the rest of the evening with no pants on.

Didn't tell hubby, he wouldn't have been impressed, he's not like that

Arrgghh, that post was a bit too long - ouch!!

 oooer, that wasn't intentional, honestly

'split to the thing' should read 'split to the thigh'.

I wish we could edit posts but then I expect you'll all have a good laugh at that typo.
