I'm looking at my ct abdomen and pelvis without intravenous contrast report and noticed that I have the cholecystectomy clips in where they removed my gallbladder little over 3 years ago. Now I'm on medicine called cholestyramine 4 mg 1 scoop 3 times a day for the diarrhea. I got irritable bowel syndrome. My gallbladder was only working 18%

I have recently been experiencing a pain on my right side and this hurts when I make a movement of upper torso, the pain can radiate round my back but not always and also occasionally round the front, I am concerned as to what it might be as I do have issues with my back, so my Dr arranged an xray today however when I asked the radiologist was unable to verify that she could see the titanium clip that was used for my laparoscopic cholecystectomy, my own Dr said that he will arrange a scan too so hope he doesn't forget.

Are you arranging an appointment to see the doctor about the pain? And to ask if the clips could be the problem for the pain all these years?
I have been fine for the last 6 years it's only the last 8 months that I have had this problem.
